Distributing my gamedata.

Would it be okay legally if I distributed my gamedata for a multi-person project where I may have friends without ksp on the discord where I am distributing it? Without a working ksp install the gamedata should be useless, right?

Legally, assuming each and every mod has a license that permits it then yes it's legal.

Technically, it's probably easier to use CKAN to install the mods and then just distribute the exported list, which is also 100% legal no matter what the mods' licenses are. That of course assumes all the mods are on CKAN but the vast majority of the popular ones are.

We have bumped this question upstairs to the people that know, and they should get back us shortly.

I have decided to just have a modlist. It's a lot easier and less of a hassle.
