Cytauri
This is my one wish I want for KSP2. Its simple to say but is probably very hard to implement in game. I have searched for mods for KSP 1 (now I have to call it that) that made re-entry effects on parts yet there were none. In SpaceFlight Simulator (Cough...Ksp's Main Competitor...Cough) there are burn marks, shown in this picture : This is just the one thing I would want in KSP2. Just a suggestion. The Aziz
It's weird that there's none considering it's a matter of slowly applying more of the "burn" texture on the model as it goes through the armo. If emissive materials, on engines heating up as they fire, are possible, this should be as well.

Cytauri
Also, In this Kerbal Animation, you can see that they added burn marks at 5 minutes and 21 seconds for the re-entry. Its a nice touch. This is not an official trailer. Edited December 27, 2022 by CytauriKerbal

For example - each rocket will not be a new object (the returned rocket will be without fuel if it is launched immediately) or the lander being returned back will lose some of its strength, which can lead to a catastrophe (destruction of the ship upon entering the atmosphere) and at the same time the Kerbolas could repair them in the space center (restore strength, remove traces) what do you think? Nice idea! I think they should add this in as well. Also, I had another idea, Sonic Boom FX. When something goes faster than sound, then there should be a sonic boom. Также у меня была еще одна идея, Sonic Boom FX. Когда что-то движется быстрее звука, должен быть звуковой удар. I hope the developers will hear us! Developing your theme with a sonic boom - you can make a sharp movement of the camera when passing the barrier, as well as a multiple temporary increase in overload on the ship and effects for kerbals - some kind of surprise emotion)

Needless to say, because the air inside the cockpit is coming with the rest of the ship, you can still speak to your other Kerbonauts. You just wouldn't be able to hear the sonic boom. Yeah, but its not saying that KSP 2 can't be a little unrealistic. I mean, there is literally little green plant people creating rockets to fly into space finding monoliths and different objects And creatures along the way. Even if you want it to be realistic, you could have it so if you are zoomed away from the object, you'll hear the boom. 20 hours ago, Kerbal wanderer said: well, the question is not whether the kerbonaut will make any sound, the emotion itself is important, which it will show, kosmonavt feels overload, after all I like this idea of the Kerbal reacting to the supersonic enter.
