Anyone else bothered by the Immediacy of Pretentious Kerman's Unnecessary Crash Report blocking your view of the Glorious Destruction?

There was a lot of work done by the artists to make the rockets and explosions look good.  But this pop-up (and especially it's immediacy) takes the Kerbal fun out of Epically Failing.

The huge, screen hogging Flight Report is too big, too immediate and too opaque in my opinion.

Anyone else bothered by this?

Yes, I noticed that too.  Several times it stopped the game and told me the craft had been destroyed, even when it was clearly intact and I had to reload.

What is weird is that I've had a couple of plane RUDs where only a wheel survived and no crash report popped up. 

 

Maybe it's only affecting rockets?

That happens to me all the time. The steerable non-retractable plane wheel is immortal and will survive anything and the camera will always go to it.

I agree though, that pop up window is counter productive. At least let the player watch what is happening. 
I am drawing a blank but the same kind of window that pops up in KSP1 works better for reasons I can’t think of.

I don't have anything to add to this topic, I believe it should be delayed for a few seconds after crash (it's the fastest loading part of the game for me right now), but I wanted to praise this topic title as it's made me laugh like five times now.

Don't tell me I crashed. I know I crashed.. Trust me, I know..lol. I will hit Escape or quick load or whatever, whenever I am done watching the explodey goodness, which is what KSP is built on. My two cents.
