Ability to tell which way is north in the VAB

Recommended Posts

I like to build my rockets in a way that when I have side boosters in 2x symmetry, they're in N-S axis. In KSP1 it was easy because you could see the launchpad in the distance and can tell which way is which. Impossible in new one.  And would be totally impossible when colony VAB arrive. A NSWE markers on the VAB floor would be enough.

Me too. Before I launch I always select the root part and hit Q, but having a visual reference would be fantastic.

This is a good thing to add.

Im used to using pitch not yaw for inclination. Never understood why KSP1 assumed you would use yaw for your angle of launch. To me the forward direction up down is pitch not left right. So I to would "Q" my rockets on building.
