launch-stability-enhancer
System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: I can fly a craft I build in the VAB and load existing saves Observed Behavior: After returning to the VAB due to a craft being unable to lift off the following can be observed "Launch" button does not transition vehicle to the launch pad, instead nothing happens No non-stock workspace saves appear to be loaded All workspace saves DO appear in the save menu. Except for workspace saves made after this issue first appeared After closing the game, then saving an additional workspace. I could start launching again. When I finally got it to launch, the camera rotated with the camera oriented incorrectly (kerbin is sideways see photo below, this is looking top down which I determined by locking out the rotation) UPDATE: I got it to happen again by going back to flying the craft and working on it, but the same thing happened again. Now the save menu is empty and shows no workspaces. Honestly I'm just gonna give up and try again after the patch update, this is unplayable. Saving a new workspace did not fix it this time Steps to Replicate: Unsure, happy to provide save file Fixes / Workarounds: No idea, gonna stop playing the game for a few weeks Edited March 12, 2023 by launch-stability-enhancer
Socraticat
So I've found a workaround... for now. In the appdata folder there's a Private Division folder with save data. You can delete the Private Division folder and "Reset the game" but keep your save data somewhere safe before you nuke that folder. I put my craft workspace in another save and at least my VAB work isn't a complete loss, but any previous landings or flights I had are gone. Also, hitting V will change camera view when the camera (and Kerbin) gets sideways. Edited March 12, 2023 by Socraticat V is for view.

cocoscacao
@Socraticat I think that happened to me once. The game starts bugging out more and more, the longer you play it. One of my campaigns currently is totally unable to load any vehicle on launchpad/runway... But I get stuck at loading screen

I plan to get the new version, hunt all the bugs I can in it and then take a rest for month or so, then repeat the cycle - worked pretty well with KSP1
