  1. Big kudos to the KSP2 team for taking the hard love over the last year, focusing on fundamentals, and delivering on making KSP2 a true successor to KSP. Lots of work ahead but I can say now that I'm really excited to be a part of journey.
  2. Awesome thanks @Socraticat! Glad I didn't have any in progress missions
  3. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: I can fly a craft I build in the VAB and load existing saves Observed Behavior: After returning to the VAB due to a craft being unable to lift off the following can be observed "Launch" button does not transition vehicle to the launch pad, instead nothing happens No non-stock workspace saves appear to be loaded All workspace saves DO appear in the save menu. Except for workspace saves made after this issue first appeared After closing the game, then saving an additional workspace. I could start launching again. When I finally got it to launch, the camera rotated with the camera oriented incorrectly (kerbin is sideways see photo below, this is looking top down which I determined by locking out the rotation) UPDATE: I got it to happen again by going back to flying the craft and working on it, but the same thing happened again. Now the save menu is empty and shows no workspaces. Honestly I'm just gonna give up and try again after the patch update, this is unplayable. Saving a new workspace did not fix it this time Steps to Replicate: Unsure, happy to provide save file Fixes / Workarounds: No idea, gonna stop playing the game for a few weeks
  4. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: Things don't clip through a fairing and separators don't act as a spring and instead break under force Observed Behavior: Using an XS stack separator connecting an XS truss to an ion engine the separator under great force did not break and instead acted as a spring. Additionally the motion this spring behavior made it apparent that a payload can clip through a fairing. I would expect either the fairing or the payload to break instead of this. Steps to Replicate: Build craft as described Fly on a rocket until around 10km where the behavior happens at high speed (unsure why not at low speeds) Wiggle the rocket a bit Fixes / Workarounds: MOAR STRUTS Recording of behavior: https://imgur.com/a/dWI7IFD
  5. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: Crashing my vehicle would destroy my vehicle Observed Behavior: The game decided my landing gear (or some similar shaped piece) was the craft and it fell into the under-kerbin which is the only way I can describe it. There is a full second world shaded in a deep blue buried under an ocean buried under the KSC runway. Watch my recording and you'll understand Steps to Replicate: Crash? Fixes / Workarounds: Revert Recording of behavior: https://imgur.com/a/O6sX8qr
  6. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: Thrust/Lift Indicator should appear on selected vehicle in a workspace Observed Behavior: Thrust/Lift Indicator appear on the original vehicle in a workspace. COM indicator works as expected. Steps to Replicate: Open thrust/lift on vehicle Create second vehicle Switch to it as the selected vehicle Fixes / Workarounds: NA
  7. Same issue here, also with Bartholomew
  8. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: Fuel tank part should expose information on the amount of fuel contained Observed Behavior: No information is available when the fuel info is expanded for monoprop, liquid, or methalox (other types could also have this issue) Steps to Replicate: Right click a fuel tank in flight Fixes / Workarounds: N/A Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/xJRMKPV
  9. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: Kerbal Jetpack should not be affected by non-static camera views such as chase Observed Behavior: Kerbal Jetpack is affected by chase view position which creates a feedback loop between the orientation of the kerbal and the orientation of the camera causing an uncontrolled spin. Steps to Replicate: EVA on orbit Switch to chase camera mode Rotate camera off center Give the kerbal a nudge (pitch/roll/yaw) to start the feedback loop Fixes / Workarounds: Don't use chase mode on EVA (unfortunate because chase mode is really useful with the new ability to rotate your kerbal in EVA) Recording of behavior: https://imgur.com/a/am455Mn
  10. I attempted EVA on 90km orbit around Kerbin under no acceleration and also experienced rapid unscheduled disassembly. No damage to my kerbal Screenshot: https://imgur.com/QxgWQTM
  11. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: Setting for rotate pitch should be labelled "Rotate Pitch (Jetpack)" Observed Behavior: Setting for rotate pitch is labelled "Center camera in VAB" Steps to Replicate: Open settings and look under "Inputs" Fixes / Workarounds: Read the description instead of label Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/f36Qy1a
  12. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: Wing shouldn't be upside down when placed on "NCS 200" Observed Behavior: Wing is placed upside down when placed on "NCS 200" attached to the plane with mirror symmetry. This is specific to wing pieces and does not apply to stabilizers or control surfaces. Steps to Replicate: Open new workspace Build a plane in horizontal mode as shown in my recording using "NCS 200" and any wing part Fixes / Workarounds: Using stabilizer or control surface works as expected on "NCS 200" Recording of behavior: https://imgur.com/a/uKRTk2j
  13. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: If I select horizonal mode in VAB, the first part will be placed in horizontal orientation. Observed Behavior: If I select horizontal mode in VAB in a new workspace and then select a first part that is not a cockpit; then the VAB is switched to vertical mode and my part is placed in vertical orientation. Steps to Replicate: Open new workspace Select horizontal mode Spawn any part that is not a cockpit Fixes / Workarounds: Spawning cockpit initially, placing the part you want, and then removing the cockpit. Recording of behavior: https://imgur.com/rMCy7MY
  14. System Info KSP Version: KSP2 Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Mods Installed: None Description of the Bug Expected Behavior: After crashing vehicle, reverting to the VAB or Launch will get rid of the crashed vehicle window. Observed Behavior: After I crashed one of my planes, neither revering to launch or reverting to VAB would get rid of the crashed vehicle state. Instead my vehicle would appear on the runway perfectly intact, then the same crash window would show, and I would lose control of my vehicle because the game thought it had crashed. Being not actually crashed, the plane would slowly roll down the runway as per usual. Steps to Replicate: I reproduced this crashing the same plane again on takeoff after restarting my game. Here is a copy of the workspace: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CGyZ2T4Y-bNiDsGNJ3czSQR0n01TTkI8/view?usp=share_link Fixes / Workarounds: Restarting the game Recording of behavior: https://imgur.com/a/PMy2c45 This recording shows revert to launch and revert to VAB reproducing this issue
  15. KSP Version: Build ID 10624168 Operating System and version: Windows 11 / Version 22H2 CPU and GPU models: AMD 5800X / NVIDIA RTX 3700 / 32GB RAM Description of the bug: In the action menu, parts do not always expand/collapse on first click Expected Behavior: Parts expand/collapse on the first click Observed Behavior: In the action menu, parts do not always expand/collapse on first click Steps to Replicate: Click a part in the action menu Fixes / Workarounds: Click the part a second time A list of ALL mods: No mods installed Recording of behavior: https://imgur.com/BrdJMWz
