Light mode code blocks are unreadable

I know like half a year ago it was in dark mode, but now it's light mode code blocks that are unreadable (yes I still use light mode). Proof:

I believe this is caused by the themes engine using dark mode color for light mode code blocks.

We’ve been aware of this for some time and are awaiting a fix from IT/CM.    We’ll pass this one along too.

Its literally like a few hours worth of work to resolve a lot of these issues by a responsible webmaster. Do we not have a dedicated forum webmaster anymore? There's been a few issues popping up over the past month(s) with no movement.

Syntax highlighting is still in "dark-mode color" in light mode. Could it be fixed, please? It makes reading syntax-highlighted code blocks hard in light mode.

If the un-syntax-highlighted code color can be changed through some css, I see no reason syntax-highlight colors can't.
