ksp2 refund options

What options do I have if steam denies my refund request.  I only played a few hours and I encountered hundreds of game breaking bugs but because I didnt request the refund within a few weeks its been denied.

I feel a little scammed.   Is there any options I can do like with the website or emails?

Yep, you can contact steam support directly, and appeal, but they're unlikely to do anything unless you are only marginally over the play time/buy time windows. If you bought it back at launch, your pretty much outta luck for any refund, been way too long. Your remaining options are limited and generally destructive - card chargebacks are an option your financial institution might permit, but at best steam will pretty much blacklist you from buying titles, at worst may ban your account. Would not recommend trying your luck on it at all.

Don't fret it too much though, everyone gets burned on one or two EA games, and learns to either not buy EA if there's anything else you might wanna spend that money on, or gets very good at watching that 2/14 window and bailing out. I've still got Starforge and Godus in my library, so I've been there and know how you feel lol.

  1. Insist, like a lot.
  2. Check your local laws and with your consumer defense body (should be free to consult with them).
  3. Make a proper case. The only thing Steam cares about is what the store page says.
  4. Go through Steam Support, not the automated refund page.
  5. Insist, like a lot.

I bought the Hitman franchise, and played it for multiple hours (5 or so) over about 3 days (1 more than the return policy).

Then my internet happened to go down for a bit and I found out I *could* *not* *play* this single player game at all because it couldn't contact the server.

I put in for a refund stating that as the reason, and got my refund with no further questions asked.

I don't know your situation exactly, but if you explain in detail the reason you feel you deserve a refund, they may agree with you.

They may not. Opinions differ. But they may.

Have you contacted an IG community manager directly? If Steam have denied 10 requests it’s really unlikely they’ll grant it, you’re just frustrating yourself.

It’s also possible you’ll just have to write this one off and be more careful to stay within the refund window the next time you try an EA game (or otherwise take a chance on something).

I sent an email to private division support days ago but it was ignored completely.  I kept clicking "my issue is not resolved" forcing the ticket to stay open after each response with steam until they forced the ticket closed so I just opened a new one and will keep asking.

I cant find any contact info for the IG community manager

So you bought a game knowing the return policy, went over BOTH time limits of that return policy, and are now annoying poor low-level employees who have no control over that return policy, and will continue to do so into the unforeseeable future?

K, all right, enough now.

In that case I think you might have exhausted your options. You’re not entitled to a refund as you’re outside the Steam refund window but sometimes you can get one anyway. Being polite about it usually helps, but if it’s been refused at all levels, repeating the same request is very unlikely to work.
