Eclipse is not shown in Map view

Bug Report

Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes
OS: Windows 10 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core | GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 | RAM32

Surface of the body is not illuminated by the Sun, even tough it should be. You can circle the entire body, it will remain dark. It seems that this issue persists, even when save is loaded from from freshly started game, so that's good news (save file included). Worth noting is that, sometimes, I got trajectory lines bug upon reloading a save, so maybe it helps, :/ The stand-up guy remains elusive though...

Yep. Mun's surface is illuminated in map view when eclipsed by Kerbin. In flight view, it is dark, as it should be.

Curious about why you did a second bug report for this issue though?

Hehe, our brains aren't built for basic logic. I had to put this into the small comparison table to double check. They aren't the same:

1st bug
condition: no eclipse (expected illuminated)
map view: illuminated
flight: dark

2nd bug
condition: eclipsed  (expected dark)
map view: illuminated
flight: dark

Both of your bug report are the 2nd bug. The first bug (the one at the top) is also in the case of an eclipse.

Maybe I forgot something but I have never seen the 1st bug in the forum (except from the bug that I linked above that just dim the surface instead of showing a shadow but not really the same thing)

Nope. I recall that the title was changed. Maybe it was changed incorrectly. To quote myself from the first bug:

So no eclipse here. The surface went dark for no reason. Second bug is about eclipse. You can roughly see it in the second image. The Mun being directly behind Kerbin.

It was me that changed it because I tested your save, to quote my answer right above:

@cocoscacao, your save file shows an eclipse, so I changed the title to reflect the problem better.

So unless your save from the first bug report was not the right one, it’s the same bug.

(Note that we usually don’t change the content of a bug report, just the title)

Jool should block all light falling on Laythe (see image). I assure you the angle is correct - Laythe should be in Jool's shadow.

Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes
OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22631 64-Bit | CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor (24) | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 (24340MB) | RAM65459

As you can see in the video, I started on the night side of Pol. I placed a maneuver node on the day side and time warped to it. There was some changes in illumination, for instance indirect lighting on the vehicle (light reflecting from Pol towards the "belly" of the ship), but the sun itself was gone. Switching to map view revealed the sun there, but it stayed hidden in flight.

Logs, saves etc attached in the .zip file.
