For Science ship controls stopped working.

Not sure if this is a bug or I toggled something wrong.

All ship controls stopped working: Pitch/Yaw/Roll (WASDQE). Throttle and staging still works. Engine is LVT-Swivel.

I even reverted to an earlier save and restarted the game, to no avail.

All inputs are default. SAS is on. RCS is off.

If turn RCS on, I can use RCS controls to yaw/pitch.

Any ideas on what is wrong?

Are you using reaction wheels or control surfaces?  The Swivel doesn't have gimbal, so without some easy of actually controlling the craft, you can't, well, control it.

Actually, the 'Swivel' does have gimbaling ability.  Because it 'swivels' back and forth..

However, it is possible to disable the gimbal, or to deactivate controls for specific axes- Pitch, Roll, Yaw.  So one possibility is you have perhaps accidentally disabled the gimbal ability, or deactivated gimbaling for the important axes.

I had  this problem today in exploration mode, when I got to the first orbital mission.

1. I was using the same craft that earlier I had full gimbal control of.

2. I checked that I was using the correct engine, I was using the Swivel, not the Reliant.

3. I removed the engine, saved the workspace, then put the Swivel engine back on and resaved.

4. I double checked gimbal settings by right clicking the part, everything was enabled.

5. I double checked SAS/RCS settings, everything was normal.

6. Still no WASD control.

7. Reloaded the save, Still no WASD control.

8. Reloaded the game, WASD control returned.
