Weekly Challenge #44: Missions Accomplished

This mission's a meta-mission: How many missions can you accomplish with a single launch?

  • Your vessel may break apart and accomplish far-flung missions as separate vessels, but all mission elements must be launched at once.
  • The mission streak may begin at any point in the mission progression.
  • You may accomplish missions that are issued after the launch.

No tiers on this one, just a race against other players for the ultimate combo!

Why can I only activate primary tasks and secondary tasks one by one? Therefore, I am not allowed to complete more than two tasks per launch.

Untrue.

You don't even need to "activate" the missions to complete them. You only need to turn them in. The trick is, the game won't "see" you have completed a mission until you're controlling a craft that completes the mission at that moment. And you won't get new missions until you turn in some missions.

For example, your very first rocket can reach orbit. You launch it into orbit, go into mission control (for the first time that save), and you've already completed the "launch to 10km" mission (that you didn't accept or track). Turn it in, and you get the "reach space" mission. Go back to your craft, and BING it completes. Go back to mission control and turn it in, and get the orbit mission. Go back to your craft, BING it completes. Etc.

How do I know what to do if the tasks are not shown?

I didn't say you SHOULDN'T track them, just that you don't NEED to.

One way to know what to do is to have started a career dozens of times so you just remember :D

So should developer provide a mission list of exploration mode when proposing challenge missions?

Go play it and find out as a dress rehearsal, then restart and implement a strategy to attain the most goals possible.
