Infinite Aerospace
Congratulations on the release, this is about to become one of the most popular threads. JNSQ is a high tier planet pack but it's been hampered with the lack of compatibility between it and the newer Scatterer, clouds and such. Thank you. dylsh
It’s moments like this, that are truly terrible. Terrible because I will have to wait at least a day to try this out. Congrats on the release! The community thanks you!

shifty803
Amazing, I stopped playing JNSQ because the visuals were just so far removed from what is possible now. I will try out your work as soon as I can, thank you!

Ariel Kerman
I was working on my own configs and trying to get scatter compatible with JNSQ, but you taken the lead with this release! Congrats!
evileye.x
@rbeap, so, your mod has stock volumetric clouds configs as dependency, but at the same time, it does add additional configs. I beleive this means both (JNSQ volumetric and stock volumetric) configs are active on the same planet (Kerbin)? I have not very good perfomance (like 40-50 FPS) with 12400F, 32GB RAM and RX 6800 (16GB VRAM) Edited June 26 by evileye.x

bacontornado
Thanks for continuing your work on this! Somehow though, it looks like I'm still getting overlapping clouds. Edited June 26 by bacontornado

bacontornado
@rbeap Ah, my mistake then! I'm still getting a pretty big performance hit and that lower layer looked different from other installs where I have volumetrics so I assumed multiple configs were still occurring. I only have a mid-tier system though, so that's probably the culprit.

WolfieKSP
Hi, I'm not sure if this mod works correctly, I didn't see much change between before and after installing it and Eve looks very wierd at 140Km, I'm using JNSQ10x https://imgur.com/a/2SMxRd5 < there are some pics

bacontornado
7 hours ago, rbeap said: @bacontornado Could you please redownload JNSQVolumetrics from SpaceDock? I changed the download to fix a :FOR in a patch that didn't even apply, my mistake. I copied the cfg over from AtmosphericBeats' KSRSS volumetrics mod to use as a template, and i changed everything but the mod it applies to... lol anyways could you go into JNSQVolumetrics/EVE/raymarchedClouds.cfg and change "%temporalUpscaling = x4" to "%temporalUpscaling = x8" to see if that helps? @rbeap I redownloaded and changed the upscaling as you recommended, and it seems like the performance issues are fixed! evileye.x
@rbeap , also I cannot see Kerbin continents on map view at all - whole surface looks like all ocean covered by layers of clouds. Is it just me, or scaterrer is too thick in scaled space?
