raxo2222
Here is my starship. It can go anywhere. It weights 500 tons, and its so big, that areobraking is useless (well with quantum mode no fuel is spent, only antimatter). Also it has 300 parts.Sent my unmanned probe for science: Edited June 3, 2014 by raxo2222

astropapi1
Yeah I know: F2 - F1. If crappy image quality was good enough for NASA it's definitely good enough for me.Never gets old, huh?Nice rover though. I like how compact it is.
WooDzor
Never gets old, huh?Nice rover though. I like how compact it is. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/76481-Tsar ...Took it a step further about a month ago though Thanks, It had to be compact to fit inside the nosecone and heat shield. (it's quite the squeeze) I am a bit annoyed that it's 'head' isn't on a stick like the real one and that i forgot to add an arm (extendable antenna). I might still flip it upside down on top of the rocket (like the real one) and add this extra stage with RCS thrusters. I am also rather content with the skycrane. Clockwork_werewolf
So I thought I would try out a two stage stock launch vehicle. It uses Basic Rocketry Tech which since the science can be got from sitting a capsule on the launch pad and doing just that science should be cheap enough. The whole thing is reusable and makes orbit, may try for the mun later. Two Stages, both parts have capsules and MUST be manned to retrieve both parts.Second part minus the top landed safely Edited June 4, 2014 by Clockwork_werewolf

raxo2222
I rebuilt my spaceship cutting part count in half. Now game is choppy, but playable. Here is my spaceship, before I redesigned bottom of it:All hail Grand RocketOr not: exploding bottom of ship made it collapse:I redesigned it a little:These resources last for really long. Well, maybe I should drink Kethane twice or thrice, if I wanted to do whole grand tour.

raxo2222
If you put your kethane scanners in a polar orbit, you can cover the entire surface with one sattiliteI know I was testing different starship, but it ended up being too laggy. Also do you see these RCS just above warp drive? here is center of mass. So its easy to rotate rocket, as I placed another set of rcs on top of ship. Edited June 5, 2014 by raxo2222
