Chris94
Jedian Kerman doing some EVA above Kerbin. Just launched a Orion crew capsule + SLS rocket replica, models of the NASA version. I am not an experienced player on KSP. But hope to get to the Mun and possibly Duna someday.
Hattivat
I am not an experienced player on KSP. But hope to get to the Mun and possibly Duna someday.Don't worry, you certainly will If you find a full-blown Apollo-style mission too intimidating, just take it slowly: do a manned flyby first, or land a probe before attempting to do the same with kerbals on board. Hattivat
I must now who people are doing all this real life stuff! First Earth, now Jupiter! The visuals are courtesy of http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55145-0-23-5-Real-Solar-System-v6-1-4-29-14 with the second config (the one that uses Planet Factory). Be warned though, it's quite memory-intensive.

caba111
Here's a small base I made on top of the tall pointy mountain across from KSC (I'm calling it Black Mountain). The air is very thin at the top. It was a challenge to get even a few small modules up there.http://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=0Bw9IGvZWuHyNeEphOXNDbWxZeUU
Overfloater
Hey caba... something's not right with your link. Perhaps you should try uploading to imgur.com or photobucket.com ._.---on another note... here are some cool shots of my 2nd ever non air-hogging* SSTO Mun lander:*Can't accuse me for air-hogging if there aren't any intakes! Wampa842
After the partial success of the Pandyssian Space Exploration's manned mission to Eve, the agency decided to launch a second Sovereign-class starship. However, due to game bugs, it had to be taken down. The ship had six escape pods, three of which were used to return crew members. The other three had enough dV to bring the spacecraft down. The pods' parachutes could even bring it down in one piece!Well... almost. The bridge was left in the desert as a memento... or maybe the recovery crew just forgot about it.The aviation team of Midgard Space Agency (known for its enormous vehicles) developed a new hypersonic light spaceplane. The pilot was proud to, for the first time, land on an actual runway. He was given snacks as a reward for his exceptional precision. The first working SSTO spaceplane made by the aviation team of Midgard Space Agency. Shortly after the demise of K-307 Freyja, K-302 Freyr was sent on a supply and relief mission to the Alpha Asteroid Base. The mission went according to plan, the reentry was fine...But the pilot touched down a bit too hard.Any landing you can walk away from, right? What is that doing THERE?Oh.................... okay.Debris says WOOSHThis is what happens when you deorbit a spacecraft straight from a 900 km polar orbit. That blue thing there is Kerbin's core; the Eye of the Kraken as I call it.Physics go potatoesAnd a brave kerbal on EVA in the atmosphere, trying to attach parachutes to the spacecraft after a severe malfunction. All crew members survived. Both P.S.E and Midgard use similar space tugs for orbital assembly. With the discovery of antimatter, the Pandyssian tug had to be replaced. A second one was sent out to the antimatter harvester to replace the outdated one.The harvester and the old tug can be seen on the left, and the new one on the right.Coming in for docking...Aaand they're kissing. The Mk.1 tug reveals its payload: an Advanced Extravehicular Suit. It has a command seat, a relatively strong reaction wheel, numerous RCS thrusters, a single robotic arm, and a small docking port.Due to the lack of space, the AES has to first be ejected by the tug's pilot, then mounted while floating free. It's fun to mess around with it, but without an electromagnet, it is quite hard to actually do stuff with it.Docking the AES to the docking port inside the Mk.1 tug's cargo hold.Parachutes attached, everything undocked, NERVAs firing, the Mk.1 tug starts its descent to the surface.Again, any landing you can walk away from, right?
