OrbitusII
Once again, Gusmin has done a fantastic job of flying a Vortex 2 Prototype. The V2X-2 solves the major design flaw as well as improves CoM movement when burning fuel.Gusmin got it higher and faster under jet power, but still not fast enough to achieve an orbit. It looks like the flight plan I'm using is not adequate for taking this plane into space.Alas, the V2X-2 was doomed. During ascent and attempted orbital insertion it's a lot more stable than the V2X-1, but this newest prototype completely failed any sort of landing. Gusmin survived, but only just. It turns out that the V2X-2 is more stable flying backwards when low on fuel. Engineers will now be taking a Vortex 1 and turning it into the V2X-3 in an attempt to use a working design to achieve orbit.

RogueMason
You guys are probably sick and tired of seeing Skywatch Station here by now...I'm not Fortunately for you guys, it's just the one for now. Here, have my new lander, the Aquila:I think I managed to make the 2-man lander capsule look halfway decent with this ship.Another shot of the Phoenix:Finally, I relocated Columbia Research Station from an equatorial orbit around Mun to a 45o inclined orbit to facilitate better access to my base that is sitting in the north polar region. RogueMason
I'm not either. It really looks cool. I'd like to recreate it with stock parts.Go right ahead! It is mostly stock, anyway; the solar panels are from Near Future, and it's all based on this station concept from Reaction Engines Limited:Also, to remain on the topic of the thread, here's a picture from a rescue mission:
j-tk
Here Jeb was minding his own business on the first Trans-Duna flight, and out of no where comes this bad driver moon that inadvertently gave us extra slingshot speed and doomed Jeb to speed almost 80 years in space until Jool kindly came along and gave him the slingshot home (Hope Jeb was alive, and that's just not a skeleton in a Jebadiah suit, anyone know how long Kerbals live lol)

OrbitusII
I noticed that my Duna Transport vessel was getting surprisingly close to my space station, so I figured I would dock them together for the heck of it.The closest it would have gotten without any orbital changes would have been around 10 km.Step 1: connect the station's tug to the vessel to provide more translation control.Step 2: get lined up for docking, then dock.Result:
