I have been home sick this week, and being bored ( and now that the forums are back up) I have decided to do my first Elcano Challenge. I wanted to do an easy one to start, so I picked Minmus. It's going to be a long journey, so we will be bringing extra snacks. Day 1: Getting There Spoiler Goodbye Kerbin! Day Two: The Journey Begins Spoiler Our brave heros set out on their journey. Pop a Wheelie, Jeb! Stopping to plant a flag. Stopping to plant a flag before leaving the flats. Jeb decides to stop and see if the rocks are mint chocolate chip. Oh, and plant a flag. The map thus far! Day 3: Over the mountains Spoiler We can only drive a bit further before night. Stopping to timewarp till morning: We start back out again in the morning: Oops, got a bit of air: Stopping for another flag: We are approaching the mountains: Having trouble getting up the hills: One more flag stop! Day 4: The terrain glitch Spoiler We start back out for yet another day of driving: Rock(s): Stopping for the 9th (I think) flag: And now, our brave kebals stumble upon a terrain bug. (1st I've ever seen) Day 5: So close Spoiler Jumping the terrain bug: Driving: Stopping for a flag: Our progress thus far: Jumping down onto the flats, then planting a flag: Driving across the flats... ..And up a mountain: Another flag. Day 6: The Final Stretch Spoiler Our protagonists start off on the final stretch of their journey: Our progress up till now: As good a place as any for a flag: Another flag: Getting close: I CAN SEE IT NOW!!!! Made it! The proof that I made it: I hope you all had as much fun reading this as I had doing it. Thanks for reading!
