Ok, buy i guess i could give the HTV a shot then

I made a HTV for next update of ISS mod. Bobcat needs to make a release. May be I could release the parts I made for ISS before the official release.

I'm in charge of that now. :) Send it over, I'll make a test run and release it. It's just that I'm getting ready to make my own release thread for next-gen BobCat ind. Oh, and BTW, we're working on a truss update. It'll be Infernal Robotics based, and use the rotating joints for solar panels. You'll have to rotate them manually, at least at first. It should be much more realistic, especially the further part of the solar panel truss (oh, and also easier to dock to Z1).

I'm working with BobCat on all his mods, BTW. HOME, historicals, ISS... HOME is ready, writing a good release post is all I need to do now. I also wanted to push ISS out very soon, but I'll wait for the HTV if you made it.

I really can't wait to rebuild the ISS again! hopefully historicals comes out around the same time for the buran to haul it all up there! ;)

Or the Shuttle for that matter, for maximum historical correctness. It's been updated by Dragon01 and some other guys who have contributed to it. It's not FAR compatible, and AFAIK it still has a few problems, but mostly it works great.

Im getting a weird "convex mesh" error and it being caused by the solar trusses

Try the solar wings from Kosmos, Near Future Solar has some big solar wings, even the solar array from the kso phase 2 but they are a little short.

Despite the errors coming up on the alt F2 debug menu, the solar arrays seem to work fine for me. I'm using them plus the S1_P1 radiator arrays in the meantime as they're not bringing my PC to a crawl.

Near Future is probably best bet though. As much as I like the balka solar arrays, they are quite demanding on the framerate.

In the continued search for the most epic solar array, I'm experimenting with the Near Future array using textures captured from a photo of ISS

Is there any kind of trick to installing S0? I can't even attach it to the inside of the shuttle

You gotta get creative with it. I actually attached RCS blocks around it attached a decoupler, mono prop, and anything else you need for sustained flight and docked it. I also used the zenit rocket made by stubbles and horizon aeronautics to get it up there. As complicated as it sounds I got it up and successfully docked flawlessly. I'm sure there is a specific way to do it, but I couldn't figure it out. Hope this helps.

Completely possible that this is a non-thing, but I was having some trouble docking Unity to Zarya's APAS dock via the PMA. My PMAs are fine (I have CBMs on the back of them). They just wouldn't dock though. I rooted around the cfgs and I noticed that APAS didn't have any docking magnet values. I slapped some in and reloaded all the parts in game, and it worked, they docked just fine.

It could have just been exiting the flight and reloading it that fixed it, but I figure it's worth mentioning, just in case.

EDIT: P.s. What method are peeps using to attach the S0 Truss to Destiny? I.e. What parts are you attaching to the nadir node?

Can someone tell me how to connect the Cupola Module? i can't seem to connect it to anything it floats above any connected part?

You need to attach a CBM docking port to the underside, and another to the Tranquility node, and dock them like normal. (The node SHOULD already have 6 on it...)
