Snowing? Ah! I only just realized you're from New Zealand! (so jealous by the way) I'd love some snow up here right now...

Also, I imagine the thread is this quiet because everybody's just waiting for the next upload. all the ongoing discussion seems to have run it's course for the time-being.

no i stare at it for hours a day making it and never see it... lol

compared to a lot of things im measuring this up to, this just dosnt compare to their awesomeness, i don't see these as very good but its helping me gain more experience and suh

Rareden, how do you get your ship renders so clean? Do you work with the original part meshes to assemble them in the 3D editor, or do you have a means of exporting an existing .craft to a unified model beforehand?

i use the original meshs as a base usually then create hd versions with cleaner models textures, like the wheels and battery in the new one.

im sure this has been asked before, but how long does it take to make one of these average?

for the new one it was probably a week all up, it depends if its in orbit or on the surface/how close
