maltesh
Was testing this as a hyperbolic interceptor:And wound up finding out that it had enough delta-V to single-stage sundive. The satellites around Kerbin are at the 80,000 km altitude. Kerbin\'s SOI is about 84,000 km, and they give me a nice estimate of how far it extends.I\'ve had a similar setup near the Mun for awhileIn the Mun\'s case, the SOI is at about 2,200 km, so I usually put the sats at about 2,000 km.Finally, a video of two 582-meter long stacks of 6-meter fuel tanks colliding in Munar orbit at about 3 m/s: And one of an orbital weapon satellite test-firing. deadshot462
Some shots from my search for the Munoliths:Curiosity style landing of my main detector rover:Landing where the last mission crashed ended to pick up where we left off..It\'s very close, the beeping is getting louderThe Mun terrain is very unforgiving even at lower speeds..'We just happen to run into the Grand Canyon on the Mun'3 crashed rovers were close enough for me to pick out the landing site for my final rover mission:

maltesh
What\'s that module which looks like a personality core on top of that orbiter?It\'s the unmanned Pod from the Mechjeb plugin/part set.Done up to look like the Space Core from Portal 2, it looks in the direction it\'s pivoting the ship when Mechjeb is operating... and when MechJeb isn\'t operating, it looks at you. hubbazoot
My first rendezvous, went remarkably well. High-precision landing mission to Mun. Ended up 6m from target. Not bad.
Phoxtane
I\'ve got one. After nearly avoiding a catastrophic deconstruction, my thought was that two Munar rovers would balance out the payload. Here it is in orbit!

Redrumsalad
I\'ve tried an orbital rendezvous many times to no avail even Mechjeb couldn\'t do it. They were all the same ship and everything. Glad you guys can do it while I\'m still here figuring out the secrets lol.
