Font: Korataki. It's not free. I had to paid 30 dollar for that font. But I grab it 2 year ago. Because I'm making N7 for shirt to sell based on mass effect font. Anyway, I use that font then modify it bit to make it unquire.

They were always that size, the one in the blog post was for KSC's flagpole (which, coincidentally, has been enlarged so you're 50% right!)

I think I prefer to go for the more "Standard Issue" look or, something that's like really official looking. I was going for something that looked like they made many of them and it's another piece of standard, utilitarian equipment. Bright, easy to see, and it tells you the corporation that placed it.

Probably the best flag in here. I love official look too, and the idiotic factor that has it on the same time. You mind if I borrow that one?

I used paint, but many people here used GIMP i believe.
