I'm satcharna on Steam too.

If you're using a stuka (dive bomber) I'd recommend dropping your bombs from just a bit above the lowest point where you can safely pull up. If it's a dedicated bomber you're flying, go for at least 3.5km to avoid the flak.

Also apparently I am affected by the update bug that makes most of the maps unusable for IGP-powered users. Shame too, I was going to fly an American plane for a bit for comparison to the HE51C

My username is "Specialist290," just as it is everywhere I go. I direct-downloaded the client, though; I didn't get it through Steam.

EDIT: It's also hugely likely that I won't make it to all the squad ops, since my Internet connection wibblies make it hard for me to not get fed up with multiplayer games that require some sort of real-time coordination.

There are a few variants of B-17 already and dish out just as much damage as they can take, a real bitch to try and sink one. The B-29 will eventually be added too

Alright I think I'm getting the hang of this. Just took out 4 AA emplacements in a single life.

Turns out as long as I load into Stalingrad I am okay, any other map and the game crashes. Known bug at the moment.

But I've got German and American both up to level 1 now, and my cashflow is starting to go up.

We need more MiGs first, though. There are far too few Soviet jets in the game right now.

The Soviets first did semi-jets to power their aircraft like the I-250 which were propeller aircraft with a rocket element. They were just prototypes but they could add them?

Also, it would be nice if I could see some of you ingame.

There's is plenty of russian jets already, plus the Russian techtree in general is very overpowered (there are two dev teams. One for Russian planes, one for everything else. a lot of the stats get lost in translation)

Why a team for a single faction and another for the rest?

T60 with wings, what is the purpose? Some sort of delivery system? It would be better just to build a normal plane round the gun.

Well, it does seem like Soviet thinking.
