Well, I don't have the best Internet (and ISS usually have the slowest internet, said an astronaut 1 year ago during the Dragon's first Cargo flight to ISS), but here is the result of the so-called AT&T U-verse high speed internet Elite while running several IE tabs at once...

Yeah, not much.

EDIT: I'm gonna do the same thing again, only this time I'm gonna test to the other side of the world! :D

EDIT 2: Test result (Station: Hong Kong) :sticktongue:

Better... but by not much. :)

EDIT 3: Tested back to my home town: (Station: Palo Alto, but I lived few miles southeast of the city :D)

EDIT 4: Tested on San Jose, CA. Will do another test on San Jose, but on different station. :)

EDIT 5: Last test of the day on San Jose.

For now, I'm done. I wonder, who had the slowest internet of the USA?

I've tested this on a good day (slow compare to most other people) with WiFi connected. I wonder if Internet is faster with Local connected and WiFi disabled...

Keep in mind it is Blowing a gale outside when i tested this :(

So i'll probably do a test when it is not acting like a hurricane outside :P

No, seriously, look at this...

A low pressure trough is sending a gusty change up the NSW coast. A low and trough are producing rain and thunderstorms in parts of SA, VIC, NSW and QLD, with hot northerly winds in QLD ahead of it.

As it says there, I'm over 350 miles from Croyden, yet it seems to be the best result. About 15Mb/s faster than Edinburgh & about triple the speed of Aberdeen (I'm half-way between the two).

Seems strange that, although in Aberdeen they still worship fire, so high-speed broadband isn't to be expected.
