How did you find the game?

I was watching a video of the Mercury-Redstone 1 launch failure and someone made a comment along the lines of "When you mess up your staging sequence in Kerbal Space Program." I could have sworn I had heard of the game before then, but I don't remember where. But that's what got me to check out the game.

I was trying to get some mates of mine to read The Case For Mars by Robert Zubrin (check it out, you'll never look at a mission to Duna the same way). Every time I raised the subject, they kept saying to me: "Three words; Kerbal Space Program!" I kept up my end of the bargain, they didn't keep theirs. They still don't know what "in-situ propellant" means.

I noticed it being mentioned every once in a while in XKCD comics, so I googled it. I read some of the wiki to try to figure out what it was, then started watching some Scott Manley on the YouTube. Soon after I got the demo and finally bought the game when .22 was released.

I Initially saw KurtJMac play it back in 0.12, it looked interesting but I'm not one to purchase something so quickly. However, as updates came out and it's popularity grew, so did my desire for it. I downloaded the 0.13.3 Demo and played for a while until eventually buying the full game after KerbalKon 2 (when 0.18 came out). I would've bought it in 0.17 after seeing the planets for the first time, but no one in my family had a credit card. I managed to convince my dad to get one after he told me he'd been considering it for some time; KSP was my Christmas present that year (greatest $20 ever spent).

I found the game when i was looking for a more immersive game than the great space simulator "Orbiter".

liked the sim, but it lacked "editability"; i wanted to build my own spacecrafts, and after a while, i found this little gem.

It was back then still a very crude version (with the old ugly parts) it was fun, but i lost interest.

I became very interested in the game again when they added docking capabilities (0.18) and i never missed a release version ever since (hence you might see me yelling Yaaay!! in the comments of a new build video).

I cant exactly remember how I found the game but,From what I remember,It was summer,I was boring to death and searching new games,Probably looking for games about planes. I played so much that day,After ksp I tried to play war thunder (I was playing it so much before) I directly crashed my plane to ground.

Over a year ago I was trolling through some You Tube videos and came across a comment about a failed amateur rocket launch; the comment was simply "Kerbal Space Program!!" I googled it, and well, you know the rest.
