What would you do if a ksp rocket landed in your backyard? (with a kerbal inside)

The rockets aren't that small, the smallest manned parts are more than a meter in diameter! Or do you own a museum? o.O

Probably try to incorporate him into human society and go on tours around the world, letting people get his autograph and that sort of thing.

Don't ignore the first half of my comment, if the Kerbals were the size of a sackboy (roughly 3-4 inches tall) then the rocket wouldn't be that big. lol.

But they aren't. The MK1 pod is 1.75 meters wide. A kerbal (if EVA'd) is roughly equal to the size of it. In the IVA view, the Kerbal takes up almost all the space in the pod.

Kerbals are roughly 1m tall, just for general consideration. :)

EDIT: OtherDalfite, weren't the diameters 1.25, 2.5, 3.75, 5... ?

Sorry if my thoughts were wrong. I may have forgotten. But either way, you couldn't really hang a pod in your house. That's the point I was trying to get across.

I would show him the nearest launch pad which would be some 300 miles away in Texas I think ,and also walk away with the kerbal as nothing happened since i don't have a backyard so there be a house on fire.

Scenario One: Shoot it...with something. Kill it with fire. DESTROY THAT CREATURE!

Scenario Two: Capture it. Send it to the government and have it go through testing.

Scenario Three: Take the rocket parts an sell them on eBay. Then post ads: ALIEN PET FOR SALE.

Scenario Four: Bring out my laptop and show the kerbal KSP.

First, in case it tips over and/or explodes: Duck! And cover!

Then call NASA and tell them I've found a new advisor for them.

Alternatively, just tell him we have no snacks here and ask him to take me with him.

I would call the authorities to pick up the kerbals and try to figure out what language they speak. Then quite possibly be forced to learn spanish rapidly and communicate with them armed with a tape recorder that can play backwards.

1) I would not inform any officials, that never goes well for either alien or discoverer of alien.

2) I'm English, so next I'd offer them tea.

3) Then I'd ask if they'd like to come in and check out this really cool game that I've been playing and see if they were any good at it.

4) Assuming they were good at it, I'd get them to help me with this infernal SSTO I've been struggling with recently.

I live in a appartment so I guess that he would land on my roof.

I would create a glider for him and throw him out of a window(I live at 7th floor).
