max payload to lko ?

I plan on answering that very question tomorrow while I'm watching Kerbalkon! Haven't been able to play since I made the post. Need to change my account settings too so I get notifications, that's why the delay in response.

Thanks for the interest!

I'll edit my post to include payload info, thinking of taking off mechjeb too so more people will be interested, doesn't need it to fly anyway.

We should not post payload info it can be harmful to us.

How could posting info about how much "stuff" a vessel can carry be harmful to you? Not posting Payload info harms the user of your ship since they don't know much much it can lift, and thus they run the risk of crashing or running out of fuel in space.

The new VL-110EF "Spearhead" Stock SSTO jet fighter designed with FAR in mind. One of thee most maneuverable and awesome-looking FAR SSTOs, and at just 11.1 tonnes and 11*4*6.5 meters when on the ground, it is also very compact as well. It also comes in an atmospheric variant, the VL-110EA "Arrowtip."

Hmmm.... This sounds like it might go extremely well with an aircraft carrier, such as can be found in here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/24845-Boat-Parts-SubmarineParts-R4-NEW!

Here's my lander, since you don't have any up yet.

Uses Kethane and MechJeb. It can max out any moon's science, and maybe a few planets too due to its Kethane capability.

Not pretty, but a solid workhorse.

Its name is Lester (or MS 5K if you insist on a real name)

Just posted my first one over in this thread.

http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/64499-Big-Kan-Lander-Mk-1-%28Proof-of-Concept%29-for-me-at-least

I built this one tonight just to see if I could get it to land in one piece on the Mun. It worked. Unfortunately one of my KSP astronauts got stuck in the structural panel and either died or passed out because I couldn't get him to do anything. There is no launcher and it is just a basic starting point but it flies relatively well and has good stability and is relatively strong; it is a heavy sucker though. Anyway here is the craft file if anyone wants to have a go at making it better.

Mods were used in creating this lander:

KAS

Mechjeb (just in case it went tits up)

Novapunch (big heavy freaking struts)

B9 (spot lights and RCS ports)

Lazor (didn't finish the functionality)

Well, since we don't have any space stations up yet. Here you go:

The Orbital Construction Facility!

VAXJ9yQ.png

Craft File:

Mods used in construction: KSP Interstellar, Kethane, DRE, Orbital Construction, KSPX, TAC Life Support, RealChute.

Please Note: Due to a design feature If the escape pod is used you will be unable to use the Orbital Construction Facility as the part that makes it function is attached below the paracutes

Just a simple, quite small, fighter jet. 28 parts, strictly requires only B9 Aerospace but I designed it with FAR and Kerbal Joint Reinforcement installed so it might help. One thing to note, though, is that these air intakes have very low drag, resulting in insane speeds at low altitudes. Basically you can go supersonic a few feet off the ground by the KSC, something that I haven't been able to acheive with the stock ram air intakes. Try it at your own risk :) Also, because of this, you really need the air brakes seen in the second picture in order to slow down enough to be able to land within a reasonable distance of the runway. (action group 1)

B9 and stock planes meant for use in FAR.

High-performance 8-Kerbal private SSTO spaceplane with extremely generous jet fuel for atmospheric flight.

I downloaded your plane today. Oh my god is this great. Simple, but great. As i´m not good in orbit manouvers i used all fuel and couldnt reach my station. With bigger fuel/oxidizier tanks it worked perfect.

And this plane can glide! Overshot on landing by 60km to the see and was still 15km high but managed to glide all the way back.

Thanks :) Will also try the transport versions.

This is my first attempt at making a single launch station, I know, too many struts were used. It is fully equipped with a Kethane converter and large Kethane tank and 4 scanners, K.A.S. fuel transfer pipes and wenches and extra parts. I used KW Rocketry, Kethane, Engineer, and Kerbal Attachment System mods.

Please, if you can fix it please re-upload(version whatever) with what you edited and how.

My biomass refueling station. So far, it works like a (slow) charm!

This here is my heavy kethane miner. When full, it can hold about 44,000 Kethane. I'm planning on landing it at an equatorial deposit on Ike.

These are my Kethane landers and interplanetary spacecraft. The large lander has a small rover on its underside and uses kw Rocketry, Nova Punch, infernal robotics, and kethane mods. The other craft uses KW rocketry and Kosmos Spacecraft Design I think.

I do have a novapunch thor vehicle that could probably make it on the list, however I have no idea how to set up folders, however I do love all of these designs but I'm a bit nitpicky on launch vehicle looks, which is probably why I have so many mods that provide fairings.

Thought I'd share this one.

This is an 8-Kerbal, Space-Shuttle-style spaceplane. Built with dtobi's Space Shuttle Engines, B9, and KW Rocketry, it is able to liftoff to a 75x75 km orbit, with about 3/4 tank of fuel remaining.

I hereby introduce you, the Spacebus Mk1.

Action groups:

3 - toggles main engine; jettisons external tank if still attached

4 - toggles OMS

ABORT - jettisons external tank, shuts down main engine

P.S. the regular version needs KAS. Alternative non-KAS download also provided.

Spacebus Mk1 KAS

Spacebus Mk1 Non-KAS

Created in KSP 0.23.5. Spacecraft is to be built in the VAB. May contain live gremlins inside.

This is my first craft post, craft is from 0.23 but requires b9, IR, mechjeb and others I can't remember so I will upload and share only if really needed. Craft was made as a "present" to a student of mine who always brings me drawings, so I promised a spaceship in KSP . Here are some photos and a video of a realtime flight.

Edit: After a research on Google, name of this kind of aircraft is called Ultra-Light or LSA (Light Sport Aircraft).
