so this reconfig, does it include the engines, km gimbal plugin and smoke screen all working in 1.0?

I'm using this version of SmokeScreen for 1.0

And the 0.90 version of KM_Gimbal seems to be working for me

The reconfig file just includes GameData/Klockheed_Martian_SSE which has the part configs I changed to use the engines in 1.0, I haven't messed with any FX stuff before so there might be some problems I haven't run into yet, but I've tested all the engines out and they seem to be working.

This is one of the only parts packs I really install, works fine so far in 1.0.2 the only thing I noticed was that sometimes the bottom tank part will appear white in the VAB, not all the time, just once in awhile, but once they do show as white, they don't go back to orange until I restart KSP. It is a small issue, doesn't affect the part itself so not a big deal.

I more or less follow a USA program early on in my games: Projects Moho, Kerbinai, Kerbollo. I'm about to wrap up the Kerbollo era and thinking of my shuttle era. Do I use frencrs's unofficial update and risk any possible design issues when I upgrade to an official update, or do I hold off and wait for sarbian's update? Decisions, decisions...

And by the way, no complaints or anything :). I thank frencrs for the fixes and sarbian for maintaining this excellent parts mod!

FWIW, using frencrs's update shouldn't bring breaking changes if you then update to one sarbian does - chances are, the official update will do pretty much most of frencrs's as well - fixing the nodes etc. Some visual effects might change (wrt the surface effects) but yeah - why choose between frencrs and sarbians update? Por que no los dos? :D

schoff123 : you can use a patch provided by a user for now

Some news : I wanted to use replace all the node definition of the config files by transforms in the model. I edited most of them but found out that I was missing some models. Dtobi just sent me what was required so I should be able to do it tomorrow :)

I have been keeping an eye on this mod for a couple weeks now and with an update seemingly coming sooner rather than later i really hope to see the ability for this to run on its own and fully compatible with just the stock game if squad adds more advanced engine gimbal controls. If not that perhaps squad might just take an interest in this mod and simply add it into the base game. We certainly need proper shuttle engines.

This is my current shuttle design. it is fully functional even if its can be a bit hard to control at times but i bring it up because i believe this mod might be able to help me greatly improve it. just look at my engine settup on the back of that thing. its a mess but its the only mess that could manage to reliably get the craft and a large payload into an orbit.

I had to re-upload the file an hour or so after the initial release because I did not save a file. So if you got it right after my post you may want to get it again.

Yeah i know that unfortunately stock KSP currently doesn't support trimming but hopefully in one of the updates coming down the line that will be something that they add to stock.

It is out

V2.2.0 Updated for 1.0

* DDS textures

* Fixed nodes

* Updated ISP to 1.0 level

xaphan6669 : the stock gimbal does not allow trimming so I won't use it.

Sorry to bother you but this addon comes with several bugs.

Linear Aerospike engine , do not generate any thrust.

Nodes on "Radial Engine for 1m Engine" and ""Radial Engine mount for dwarf Engines" are broken.

The placement of the engines and the the tanks on the tech tree seems random.

Costs of the tanks are not balanced compared to stock.
