Vrana
Using the mod in an otherwise heavily modded install. Zero problems here.
I.O.M.
interresting gotta test this. I did notice some minor wiggling, but have no clue why it should wiggle more than other parts. Already gave it 2.5meter attach nodes cos I hoped they would be stronger. What you could try is add some struts from that tower to the modules.edit: So I just copied your base and flew it around the KSC and it held together without wiggle for me. I hope you just encountered one of those random KSP bugs. After doing some testing I think it was just KSP acting weird. I originally had built the base in the SPH and then copied the file to the VAB folder. This seems to be the culprit because when I rebuilt the base in the VAB (with some adjustments) I had no problems. Edited November 26, 2013 by I.O.M. Porkjet
Hi Folks! Here's the almost finished centrifuge.Tests show that it's only semi-dangerous for Kerbals in EVA You can download and test this early version hereWarning: GUI is buggy when switching between animations, and rotation is way too fast, I'll see to it.I made it contain up to 4 kerbals at a weight of 4 tons. thoughts? TheSuperintendnt
Okay some quick feedback.1) awesome, this looks and functions very realistic 2) slow down the rotation, its going 3 to 4 times faster than it should to be usable, NASA calculated to have a 1G hab it would have to be almost 800 feet in diameter to be safeEDIT: I see that you already know about the rotation so please ignore #2 Edited November 28, 2013 by TheSuperintendnt
XanderTek
Looks great! A very nice recreation of the Nautilus-X concept. Speaking of which, here are some details on the size and rate of rotation that might be helpful.

It says so in the video description. I assume it was testing purposes.

Prime flux
Look awesome! The function for stopping the rotation seems to be bugged. I had to retract it before geting the option to stop the rotation!
drtedastro
Or, just cram more kerbals into the bearings....
Scotius
Ring is too small compared to a kerbal. His head and helmet would barely fit inside I think you should make it wide enough so at least two kerbonauts could pass. Otherwise it looks very nice
Sochin
Well I got all three work by changing the availability to Specialised Construction, and I love all three modules. For thr centrifuge please insert vomit bags into the IVA, I just love the speed of it.

wasmic
At the last part of the video, my only thought was "Gravity". Damn that movie was great.By the way, I'm so getting this. Right now. These things look really stock-ish, and are really beautiful.

Porkjet
Yes! is planned. But not too soon-ish.

Maybe a little, but making it too big will mean it looks weird and will make it hard to build into stuff, basically ruining its functionality. Plus, I think Porkjets should continue with the stockalike theme - it fits his parts really well and I think stockalike mods are just the best
Blinkin
This looks incredible and I like that you matched the stock looks. awesome!
satcharna
That ring is nothing short of beautiful. Out of curiosity, do you have any plans for an inflatable airlock? I imagine such a thing would look good and be quite useful for landers and bases.
Dave Kerbin
I've been waiting for something like this.Does it have any destructive reaction with atmospheric drag when inflated, the way that deployed solar arrays do?
Catsceo
I seem to be having a bug, after reading this thread. My hab module always starts out as inflated and it doesn't have a text option to deflate it. It does the inflation animation in the VAB and is inflated on the pad. Whats the deal? DasBananenbrot
When did you download it? That was a problem on the first test release of the animated Hab and is fixed now....Maybe you should just try to download it again and reinstall... Helix935
it probably depends on what you use to actually see through i mean what plastic is there that is see through but can withstand tiny rocks moving faster than the speed of a bullet...
