Hey Trueborn! I *love* your work, and would *love* to have CustomBiomes packaged for the Comprehensive Kerbal Archive Network (CKAN). I don't suppose you'd also consider putting your releases up on KerbalStuff by any chance? We have a bot that works well with the KerbalStuff API, which means that CKAN users will be able to install or upgrade new mods from KerbalStuff almost as soon as they go on-line.

For you guys with the same problem: My workaround for the moment: Create a GameData Folder in KSP.app (right click on KSP Application -> show package contents -> create folder) Move the CB Folder into KSP.app/GameData/

For you guys with the same problem: My workaround for the moment: Create a GameData Folder in KSP.app (right click on KSP Application -> show package contents -> create folder) Move the CB Folder into KSP.app/GameData/

So for my reference, what is the path you used to have it installed in? /Applications/KSP_osx/GameData/CustomBiomes/...?

Yes, that's right. Mods are typically in KSP_osx/GameData/, though the KSP_osx folder can be safely renamed and moved anywhere.

KSP.app is an executable folder with the actual binary buried inside along with the Mono runtime, planet textures, etc.

Installed the 1.68c update, fired up .25 under Mac OS X 10.10, but Custom biomes doesn't show up. It use to show up in in Toolbar as a button or in Scansat while orbiting Bop. but nada, zip, nothing.

Installed the 1.68c update, fired up .25 under Mac OS X 10.10, but Custom biomes doesn't show up. It use to show up in in Toolbar as a button or in Scansat while orbiting Bop. but nada, zip, nothing.

Thanks for trying to post a log, but the Player.log is much more useful than the KSP.log. It's located in ~/Library/Logs/Unity/. This sticky will tell you another way to find it.

I think there may be some issues with the latest release, or maybe it's a conflict

anyway I got an EVA report for flying over the northwest crater when on the opposite side of the Mun and when decelerating for landing in the midland craters KER's surface tab impact biome was switching between midlands and midland craters every couple of seconds, like the biomes were only a few feet across.

has anyone come across a similar problem?

Rapid biome switching is a known issue, and is a result of how KSP determines where biomes are. Additionally, Custom Biomes doesn't change the Mun's biomes at all, and I'm not really responsible for KER's output. So, while it is a known issue, it isn't a Custom Biomes one.

Thanks trueborn, feel a bit stupid now because it's fairly obvious that custom biomes doesn't have anything to do with the mun! :blush:

Are their any mods to do custom biodomes for the Mun?

I was wondering if anyone has done a custom biome for Saturn's moon Titan in the Real Solar System mod? I'm doing a project in an astronomy class and it would be pretty amazing to have one for the demonstration. If this is the wrong place to ask, could someone possibly point me in the right direction?

Hey there, thanks for the add-on.

Just dropped to ask for small request: could you make so that the mod detects if there is Blizzy's toolbar installed, and use it instead of Stock, just so we can reduce UI clutter a bit?

edit: scratch that, fiddle a bit again and found out its already implemented... Thanks and sorry :)
