How are the RCS boosters working now?
Coverted the Orbiter to use LFO unlike the MP it used preciously, allowed me to cram a hell more dV than there was previously. The boosters work fine.

Also, KSP tried to kill my Saturn V. Fixed that with 17 engines.

Well its getting there, Not sure if ill ever release it or its cousins on the exchange its nearly 400 parts, maybe im just being overly critical of things i build lately, have about 15 craft finished which i have not released lol.

Had a lot of fun with my old Zeppelin and rebuilt it saving almost 200 parts.

Using the new fairings now for front and rear section.

Here are the current Designs:

17x symmetry ;)

239 Parts so far (stock)

Still struggling with rear fins (better looks) and where to add a crew pod.

Now it works! But... AHHHHHHHHHH! NOOOOOOOOOOO!

I think I figured it out! When the docking port connects, the hinges clip through each other, because that they are part of same vessel! Well, back to the drawing board.

Finally made an actual functional suspension but I made the suspension shocks a little bit to soft rather than stiff. The car likes to bounce a little but it gets the job done. No more radial ejector suspensions but if you use those tiny little engines and offset them into each other, you get a really nice suspension. Oh and another problem is that I made it to carry 5 tons on it rear wheels. Guess who made the rear suspension soft... yeah noo

Heres an example of the vehicle with 5 ton cargo in the back

I'm sorry I've been away for this long, I have just plumb run out of ideas. Only so many spacecraft and probes out there that are fun to build, and I don't bother building something usually if other people have done it far better than I ever will, or if I don't bring anything new to the table with my design. It's why I've generally shied away from Apollo, SSTOs, etc.

So, if anyone has a request or interest in a specific craft, I'd be more than happy to build something. Inspiration is half the battle for me now.

On another note, I discovered a very cool technique for fuel tanks. My favorite rocket may be getting a s-e-x-y rebuild.

No need for apologies man, your stuff is epic!

The Cessna 208 Grand Caravan!

3Q8q4Pz.jpg

It's quite simple what this is. An enlarged, crew-capable Cessna 150 Patroller! Capable of up to 9 seats of cre capacity, and handling with style, we decided to give this testing a green go!

l5qKQTZ.jpg

Take-off for the Cessna 150 and the Cessna 208 falls under STOL class, although there are plans to upgrade the Cessna 208's powerplant.

4C32ao3.jpg

There's the usual two models, the Cessna 208 Caravan is the base model that features no E.J.E.C.O.R.S and blow-off rooftop, and the Cessna 208 Grand Caravan features both of those.

Aerodynamics-wise, the Cessna 208 is rather slow, being only powered by a single basic jet, and plans of upgrading this to a dual basic jet are on the way

We get a clear green for the seats, no obstructions, wide clearance, definitely safe

See? You haven't finished the post on how you run out of ideas, yet you end it with one! Just lurk for a while, we all need ourresting periods. I'm sure some other person's ideas will pull you out of retirement in no time with your own tangent.

Me, I promise I am working on stuff. The new Dart has been certified for ~2mT mission modules and >500m/s in LKO, for example. Note in the last pics how much the CoM moves between a full tanks, empty payload bay config, to a empty tanks, max. mission module weight one. Does anyone want to run pre-release Duna landing/takeoff tests? I'm not likely to, and I think it is perfectly capable...

Hello fellow Kerbals!

I'm new to the forum but I've played KSP since 0.9 and picked it up again with the launch of 1.0. I've never showed any of my crafts anywhere and this would be a good place to get some feedback! I've designed quite an efficient lander in career mode (early/mid-game).

The lander itself has 2500m/s delta-v and weighs 6.6 tonnes.

The middle stage:

Consists of 9 mk1 liquid fuel tanks (since oxidizer is not needed for LV-N engine) and an LV-N engine. It makes for a very efficient transporter in space.

The first stages consists of 6 large tanks with strong thrust to easily get it into orbit and out of Kerbin's gravity.

The first manned mission to Duna went great and reentry to Kerbin worked without anything overheating.
