Hi everyone!

My idea was to increase the excitement of the Kerbin Home System and now I’am proud to present you the "Kerbin+" Planet Pack!

This Pack adds 5 new moons to Kerbin, a system that contains 3 moons (Loon, Min, Chi), a lonely Moon (Yukon) and a small asteroid/moon for Minmus (Deen).

I have already played 2 days with my Pack and have a lot of fun with it. Now you are able to have this fun too. :)

Suggestions, Ideas and other are welcome!

Thanks thats nice to hear ^^.

Atmospheres comes in the next version, when Planetfactory have support to add a own...

With the asteroids is a good idea, when it's bug free to edit the orbit, i make a few.

Hmmmmm looking at some interesting planetary orbits there..... could you simulate Fire and Water being locked in orbit around each other? Not really sure how that would work..... one would obviously have to be the orbiting body in the other's SOI...

also would need the ability to have a Kerbal who looks like Prince.

This looks amazing, especially the textures and shapes. But the physics side of me is cringing pretty badly. The. 3 moon system and the dual set. Th really need to have more distance between them. Can you do this?

Thanks, i have spend lot of time to optimize the Textures and shapes.

The physic yes..... It's pretty damn hard to configure the orbits (many bugs) but i will try what I can to make it even better.

@Starwaster Sry but this is too hard, i am a java not a c# developer ;)

I think the cheat would be to make an incredibly small body in the center with effectively no SOI and make them both orbit that.

It is possible to simulate a barycenter by creating a body that does not actually exist (or is perhaps necasserily tiny (microscopic) and then put two other bodies in orbits around it, so it appears that they are orbiting each other?

I can't help but to find it would be quite a giggle (around here, at least) if the moon opposite of "Loon" were to be called "Toon" -- If you've ever been in Canada, you probably know what I mean - :D

cheesy pun, I know... but I can't help it - sometimes I don't make jokes any more than my jokes make me.... uh wait, did that even make sense? :P

anyhow - great initiative! I wish I wasn't so close to the infamous "32 bit dead-wall" for adding new stuff on top of the massive mod heaps I got piled up already... this might be worth a try though

keep up the good work!

cheers!

will this work with the alternis kerbol mod? it changed the kerbin system drasticly, and puts bop in orbit around kerbin and kerbin in orbit around jool. just want to know before installing

Can you try it pls ^^?

Can I make this work without the Sentar system? Or is there a moon in that which this depends on?

Yes the Pack works without Sentar but Yukon is not visible. All other Moon's are still working.

And Moach thanks :D

There i something wrong about Yukon sphere of influene...

srDX85W.png

I like color and stats of this planet, but will you add some terrain features? Right now its completly flat (except some rocks) isnt it?

Mountain above atmosphere pls! Or canyon.

edit: when i think obout this, yukon has 0.7g o this soi might be not too big. if ksp has n-body engine kerbin and yuon probably woudl be binary system..

yukons gravity allows to make very powerfull gravity assists.

I'll have to see if I can somehow strip down the Sentar config file and remove the texture and model assets (memory limit) while still preserving the dependency.

Well, you did a fantastic job on those textures AND the shapes - and it pays off in spades. My favorite is Loon because I recognize it as Jupiter's moon of Io. Something I forgot to ask since I haven't tried orbiting the moons yet. Do they have proper gravity based on size/mass?
