kerbal dies after 14000 meters?

after launch my kerbal dies after reaching 14000 meters. can anyone help?

Can you go into a little more detail about what exactly happens to the rocket when you reach 14000 meters? Are you using any mods at all, or is this happening on a stock install of the game?

Couple of things it could be. Probably lack of strut related. MOAR DETAILS!!

If you start from 14km up and go down ... it's all fine for the first 13.999...kms

I'm gonna go forwards and say he's using mods. The ones related to this kind of problem are Deadly Reentry (excessive Gs) and bugged Life Support mod installs.

It's actually a misconception that you need parachutes to land at Kerbin. You only need them if you intend to make another flight afterwards.

This issue has come up before, but I'm afraid I don't remember if the cause was found, or what it might have been.

Sounds like a life support mod if its just the Kerbal dieing, try moving out your unused mods, a fresh install or listing your mods here for a look over
