EmperorJon
The furthest possible orbit you can get (with vanilla parts)? Let's have a bit of a challenge! Please provide 'evidence'.Also, to define an orbit, you must pass Apokee and Perikee both twice and both of the values to be (resonably) the same. It doesn't matter how circular the orbit is, simply how far away from the planet you are on average!I will have a go later. >
Supraluminal
This seems like a test of patience more than anything else. Just get up to escape velocity, drift outwards as far as you like, and burn into orbit.
Tim_Barrett
Interesting, it will actually be harder the further out you go, because I dontthink there is an extended orbit specs chart about 100 Km

Check the first few posts in this thread.
Warringer
Heck... I made a Hohmann Transfer Orbit Calculator for easy change of orbits. The challenge is to know how much Delta-v you got left through...
Derelict Mind
Got to orbit of 8140km and circular.See here: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=464.
timmy kerman
Is this in orbit of kerbin or the sun?
Scarecrow71
I believe you may have won, considering you are orbiting a 13 year old thread.

There's a limit in the game after which you are no longer considered to be orbiting Kerbin, so this would have to be around the sun.
