tygoo7
Absolutely. If you check 1 or 2 pages back you will see some goodies. There is some exciting developments with prop Dev, I'll tell soon The current ATV IVA will provide a nice testbed to try out a lot of these props.Awesome! I am working on a station using most of your parts! The first launch well...didn't end well.
Darth Lazarus
So, I have improved my R-7 service towers. They now include floodlights and a spacecraft access arm for crewed missions.http://i.imgur.com/1Lj0WaD.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/DGDopEm.pngThis would probably cause the rocket to heat up and burst into flames in real life.well you have beaten my russian tulip but do i see infernal robotic parts?about the flood lights: symetry and scale down lightintensity ! DGatsby
Those props look neat! I also like the Soyuz-A orbital module.
dimovski
By the way, did I actually read, 2 or 3 pages ago, that there will be a Pirs?
gooddog15
May I suggest that the old tantares antenna stay in the pack but have it's base slimmer and rescaled to fit as a nice transition between the stock DTS M1 and the 88/88 / prioroda? I really like the design of the old one. It looks like an actual antenna as opposed to new KURS dish, which looks like a docking component, like it's supposed to, not a transmission antenna. Yeah... I used Infernal Robotics *shuffles feet*I think I will turn down the power on the floodlights a little, but at the same time, I'm going to expirement to see just how bright I can make it! *cackles* Edited January 23, 2015 by pTrevTrevs autocorrect likes to mess with me
Beale
Those props look neat! I also like the Soyuz-A orbital module. Many thanks! It is in-game now, lights and all.By the way, did I actually read, 2 or 3 pages ago, that there will be a Pirs? Well There is a lot of space in the Progress texture sheet, what (progress related) I fill it with? Pirs seems a good fit, but I'm looking around.May I suggest that the old tantares antenna stay in the pack but have it's base slimmer and rescaled to fit as a nice transition between the stock DTS M1 and the 88/88 / prioroda?Seconded. I really like the design of the old one. It looks like an actual antenna as opposed to new KURS dish, which looks like a docking component, like it's supposed to, not a transmission antenna. To keep the old one would violate the whole texture economy stuff I've got goin' on.I could make an alternate model using the same textures as the new KURS.Finally, shuttle success. MK3424
Haha, that's quite a shuttle! I've never seen one without wings before. There where plans to make a wingless Space Shuttle version. But it was never build... the only thing that comes close to a wingless Shuttle is the Boeing X-37B....

The winglets still let you turn and control your descent.See the lifting body design there. Also the top left is the SERV(?) which I had an idea to make a while ago...A cute fat SSTO.Nice shuttle you got there!!Ah yes, the agony of landing leg spam. Even now I feel it.Even still they all broke on touchdown...With no payload, it had enough fuel for a powered landing, but I went the safe route. Beale
so you're going with .9735 or whatever it was?Yup 0.9375, don't worry, there will be adapters to .625 and 1.25 inc.
billbobjebkirk
Yup 0.9375, don't worry, there will be adapters to .625 and 1.25 inc. well, I use a custom TweakScale with .9375 as a default size, so I wasn't worried personally... Niemand303
Yup 0.9375, don't worry, there will be adapters to .625 and 1.25 inc. I love it! The only thing for me is that the adapter have the same slope angle as the VA capsule, especially 0.625 one. What will be the changes in the configs? I might need to adapt mines probably.Oh, and one other thing: in the RealFuels config you've included, add please a line :FOR[Tantares_RF_Stockalike] after every NEEDS[RealFuels], so that it will work with the RF Stockalike configs. dimovski
I made a quick google search for more ref. material, so if you ever do this hopefully you won't lack data/inspiration(you might find the UR-530 tower and the LK-700 tower better-looking, and some artistic license in a stockalike mod isn't exactly a problem )http://www.astronautix.com/graphics/t/tksdh1.jpghttp://www.astronautix.com/graphics/z/ztksles1.jpghttp://www.b14643.de/Spacerockets_1/East_Europe_2/Proton/Gallery/TKS_16.jpghttps://falsesteps.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/lk-700.jpghttp://www.friends-partners.org/mwade/graphics/t/tksdwg.jpghttp://www.astronautix.com/graphics/u/ur5xxalm.jpg
tjsnh
That new VA capsule is EPIC. Can't wait - thats going to get a lot of use.A thought - you mentioned using an adapter on top for sizing. That got me thinking - It might be worth the thought to have a combined chute/decoupler (like you did for the Soyuz) for the top of the VA rather than doing the radial chutes. Just an idea. Looking forward to the beta Edited January 24, 2015 by tjsnh

Thanks Yes the adapters will try to maintain the same angle: so you could put 0.625m parachute, etc and it not look odd.Changes to size, for definite, but not as drastic as the Soyuz, new TKS capsule has nodes at 0.3425.Most of the other parts aside of the Crew capsule were made to orthographic, so should be close-ish.But I will try to detail more size changes in the spreadsheet I link you.Love that VA!But please, don't forget to include a custom LES this time http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/02/TKSmodel1.jpg/1280px-TKSmodel1.jpgIt's a stubby part with CAC\CRV abbreviations written on it.
