It's still pretty easy to delete all the parts you don't want, the .cfg files are labelled as crew parts, solar panels, radiators, etc.. Currently in progress of moving all solar panels to subfolders in the "ANY" directory (You can see this with the new FGB update). But, it's probably going to take a while.
