I finally got the time to try this as well: 305,360m 292,291m, all stock. And a safe parachute landing in the eastern ocean, close to the next land mass.

edit: I\'m really sorry, looking at my screenshot again I think I took the wrong value, total distance instead of ground distance...

I say boosters with stages - no mods and no liquid fuel engines.

I just completed my latest attempt using this monster:

Distance of 2,343,739 m, using C7 basic, hardpoints, experimental and beta gear, Damned Aerospace and MechJeb.

Unfortunately my plane suffered an unintentional wing excursion during flight, so I had to set her down.

Impressive sir! I have tinkered withe the pusher props to make them solar powered, but coupled with the blimp I think that would be cheating as distance is only really limited by patience at that point. It is a bit more interesting with solar powered engines on planes though as you have to be careful to not be over water when you lose daylight.

I got 7,100m using a single SRB. Kerbals don\'t need to survive right? I also don\'t know if an ending screenshot is enough proof, but here it is:

Hey, why let SRB flyers get away with killing the crew? With a chute it\'s totally possible to save the crew, besides it adds another element of skill (how long to wait till deploying it?)

Here my second update:

For the newest aircraft that I wil made is the LDAD III.

It will be the LDAD II with some big fixes like the ductape on the moter that\'s stop the propilushon of a moter and those things.

The LDAD II had maked more than 1.000.000m. With the LDAD III I thinking it will travel 25% farther.

Well, with my new biplane design I managed to truck out 560697 meters on two fuel tanks. Lost the engine upon landing (She\'s tough to land, you have to go slow enough to just be able to pull up, push the tail wheel against the ground without gaining altitude.)
