One post per user?!?!?!? I don't think that's such a good idea. The sheer number of submissions will ensure that those who post near the beginning of the thread will almost certainly be overrun when new entries arrive. What if the way you made submissions was to have like the full description of each ship be on KerbalX? And the users only posted the links to the KerbalX page that contains the main body of the submission. Just cause any decent submission is so long it takes up almost a page. Would that perhaps be a good way to work this? Or what if (I'm just thinking out loud) there was a submissions only thread with only KerbalX links, combining the two ideas? Or maybe I'm just crazy and not thinking straight. Feel free to slap me with a fish.

Or just plain slap me.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to slap you, because it's either one post per user or no submissions. As always you cannot link to KerbalX or your own thread and expect me to follow the trail, the submission must be on the submissions thread in it's entirety or I will likely ignore it.

It's not. It's the reason why there's going to be a new thread after episode 25. There is no possible way that myself or Scriptkitt3h can look for submissions in a 2500 post thread.

The new thread will be strictly one post per user in the entire thread and I'll see if we can get the help of a moderator to enforce that.

After that the current thread will be used for discussion and notifications to post updates if all goes well.

Neat, keep everything nice and presentable so all users can keep all their eggs in one basket, I like it.

So, if you did one post per user, then how would you find people who update their craft repositories?

EDIT: Are you still looking for tanks? If so, the Striker AFV could replace the Raven that was bugged and didn't make it into the platoon. The Strikers are much better vehicles.

That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.

As I've already stated/hinted at before (and as @HatBat has now clarified), there will be a new thread after Ep. 25, I am indeed helping him manage the submissions, and yes, the new thread will be one-post-per-submitter. As such, I'd suggest to all of you to start keeping track of your craft you'll want to have ready for submittal come the new thread, as it'll not only make it faster for you to post your submissions once it goes live, but also help tremendously in consolidating things and keeping the thread clean.

I'd also suggest to you to either host your craft files via a KerbalX Hangar, or via a Dropbox or Google Drive folder for ease-of-access and organization purposes (especially since a shared link to a folder from the 2 latter sites or a Hangar can make it very quick and easy to download multiple submitted craft in one go for review).

I already mentioned that people could use this thread to notify me or ScriptKitt3h when their submissions are updated.

Perhaps you should save the striker for the new thread.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see that.I'll make some changes to the Striker and update it.

Probably. I'll bet GMI won't give up that easily. Ooh! What if there was like an atmospheric dogfight on like Duna and Eve? That would be super cool to see if people can design fighters to work in those different environments!

Bit harder, since Duna has little or no atmosphere. Most Duna planes I've seen were built around a very small core with relatively big wings needed to sustain the craft in the air. Eve might be possible, I should try flying my planes there one day.

That's why I think it would be super awesome!!! Off to the SPH!

A segment of episode 26 will likely be atmospheric, just to show off some of the craft that didn't make it into episode 25.

Kind of GMI remnants trying to hold up some place on KSC continent? Seems nice.

Would be fun seeing Ep. 26 as a last stand on the airfield island, maybe some amphibious operation with the load of boats we've seen.

I suspect that there is no way that GMI can possibly win.

With plot and stuff, of course GMI is losing. But if Hatbat went in a more simulation mode, GMI could very well win or at least get a stalemate. HKA's forces have to cross mountain chains before being able to offer an AA network for their aircraft. With GMI entrenched in KSC and fielding long-range planes like the XIF-29 and possibly my F-3, HKA's air force can be destroyed if not well used. Considering that, this offers GMI a free space to use their airborne recon assets to spot the assault, and thus prepare correctly for it. I'd say GMI actually has a slight advantage over HKA from a purely theoretical point of view.

Plot wise, since the creator has the flag of one faction as their profile picture, I doubt it'll be very accurate.

Awwww come on! Give him some credit! Besides, Season 2 just started, and it would be boring if @HatBat just copped out and made GMI lose now.

Be an optimist! :cool::cool::cool::cool::sticktongue:

I disagree, I think GMI is winning all along, first luring HKA's fleet into Duna to invade Kerbin then allowing HKA to regroup and strain their resources into liberating Kerbin from GMI who have used their funds into this Prometheus Project.

I'd say GMI has been endlessly goose-chasing HKA around since their emergence

I'm more on the GMI winning side too, but with the current turn of events towards HKA in 23 and the confirmation that 25 will be the only full atmospheric episode, it seems pretty obvious Hatbat is going to make HKA win in it, unless another heel turn happens

That's what I'm thinking too for Ep. 26. HKA has to win, but nothing's been said about a Pyrrhic victory.
