Woooo!

that dog fighting scene was tense! and I like how there was a tactical twist it wasn't just a slug fest. Saying that though I was kind of hoping for more ground combat. But I suppose that's really not the focuse of the serise.

Besides that nitpick I loved it!

(Also it has my name so XD)

Totally worth the wait. Good to have you back! And yeah, that was a very awesome dogfight scene. Must have taken quite a bit to film!

Rune. And you know where I am, if you need anything. :)

Question @ScriptKitt3h, are atmospheric vehicles still allowed?

Yes, but from here on out all new submissions are in the new thread and each company/person gets one and EXACTLY one post for their submissions.

The full set of up-to-date rules are in the new thread's OP, I'd read over them carefully to make sure you've got everything in line with the new regs.

I've read them, it's just the "ships must get in orbit" part that confused me

Ok, so any orbital vessels (capitals, SSTOs, any SPACE vessels) must be able to reach orbit on a launcher of some sort, or via flying up using their own propulsion.

So for a capital ship, some sort of launcher. For a fighter, perhaps a boost rig or propulsion setup that lets you SSTO. There may be some leeway in this depending on the craft, but for now it'll help make sure things are easy-to-work-with and fit with the video lore.

Okay I figured @HatBat could use the new stock HyperEdit to get ships like that into orbit. And shhhhheeeeeeewwwwt my Andromeda is way to big! (http://imgur.com/a/68uiJ) Urg. Welp I have other craft I suppose.

It's up to @HatBat, but there may be exceptions potentially, but it'd have to come from him.

Yeah, got that part, just that I thought the rule implied that only orbit-able ships are allowed, disqualifying all atmospheric ships. Thanks for the clearing anyways.

Ok, sorry if that was confusing. It only applies to spacecraft, any jets/atmospheric craft would be fine.

has anyone built a land Aircraft Carrier?

I doubt someone would, since that's basically an airstrip. The bare minimum carrier I built had around 450 parts, which exceeds the limit.

we design hits benchmarks like 9 g turns without falling or is rule of cool okay?

You don't even need to design it. If you strut a ship correctly, even 120G won't be too much for it.

Ok, just to get it out the way:

Ships should be (hopefully) designed with the latest version(s) of KSP in mind. Rule of cool is nice, but the ship HAS to be functional. When your submissions are ready, make sure to submit them in the new thread and ONLY the new thread.

Where is the new thread?

Remember, just one post throughout the new thread per user. Chatter in-between submissions is the reason we've had to ditch this thread.

I am going to be submitting my ships on the new thread but to do that I think I need access to my brand new computer so I'm not going to be able to submit until next week, In the meantime I'll think I'll do some brainstorming for new vehicles, right now I'm thinking about a successor to the Argus tank and a new Heavy Tank; in my last KSP session I also noticed an update may have messed the fuel lines on the Avacyn Carrier as well so I'll need to fix that too

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
