what i would really like to see is the .25 released like the old ones just bam and its there on the download page no reviews or endless crap just there. That was the coolest in my opinion anyway. Not much warning no ramp up, just wow its on the download page, then the forums light up with its here its here and the servers all crash lol much better then all this, watch other people play it for hours and hours then finally you get a chance.

Maxmaps just retweeted a tweet by Danny 2462, media release may be imminent:

I'm guessing that is for the video he's been hyping about. It's apparently a new bug he's found. From his preview it appears to involve hooking a kerbal up to a claw and blowing up Kerbin :D

It's not exactly "love it or leave it" when the feature can be turned off. There is a clear difference between a safe bet it won't completely anger half your base and those that may do just that. I think that is the #1 reason we haven't seen aerodynamics yet, it's one of those that might just anger half the users so they are trying to tread lightly and maintain the status quo.

Well I think there is basically a 100% probability that if they implement different aerodynamics, it will be toggle able. Though the FAR/NEAR fans still won't like it if stock is labeled as somehow the "easy" option since they clearly contend that FAR/NEAR is actually easier to fly than stock.

I think the thing with aerodynamics is that a) it's going to be a lot of coding, B) current aerodynamics don't actually really break the game, so there is no pressing need to change it. I think you can say the same for more parts or more planets or new biomes or any other similar things a lot of people want expanded. If the choice is going to be implementing new features and adding on NEW versions of existing features, they're going to choose new features virtually every time.
