Longest you have gone without KSP

What is the longest time you have gone without starting the game? I recently came back from a three month backpacking trip where I did not bring any device that enabled me to play KSP . The trip was great but I sure missed exploding stuff. As soon as I came back I went on a three day KSP bender to sate my appetite. How about you, what is the longest time you've been able to stay away, either forced or voluntarily?

I bought KSP a year ago and pretty much only played it once, and then waited ages and started playing again about a month ago

Similar story to me, bought it ages ago, hardly played it for a year, had a spell of playing it in 2013 but only recently got really back into it when we got contracts.

I go a few days at a time not playing just because I'm busy with life stuff, but the longest I went in recent memory was 15 days when I was in the hospital for a week recovering from surgery and then came home and was unable to sit at the computer for very long. Been over a month now and I'm not fully recovered but I'm back to KSP!

I finally got the turn, NOT to start this game every day. I bought it in November 2013 and since then played at least an hour a day. Since a few weeks i only fire it up about 4 times a week. Thats enough and leaves SPACE for all those other nice things around. But KSP still remains my all-time favorite game.

Lately I've been plunking in an hour a week. I went through a fever back when I first got it, but there's little left I haven't done so now I spring back for a few hours after every release then just trawl for new info after I get bored again.

Let's see... I discovered KSP back when there was ONLY a demo in v0.13 (Released 16th December, 2011). I then probably 2 months later stopped playing it. After that I bought the game in v0.21 (Released 24th July, 2013). Guessing on approximates loosely based on those numbers, I've gone around a year and 2 months between KSP I think. A looooong time xD.

I went on a trip to the Eastern US in July, didn't touch KSP most of that month. So probably 3 weeks, give or take? That's the longest span, though I don't play much during a normal week anyway.

34 years.

... did you mean AFTER I discovered it existed?

Are you my split personality or something? I was going to post almost exactly the same thing earlier today (34 years even...), but decided that was being a bit too coy.

I stopped playing for about 4 months on two separate occasions. The first time I had no choice as I could not take my computer with me and buying a laptop just for study abroad was not an option (or even practical). The second time is when 0.23.5 came out..I just couldn't bring myself to boot the game up. Having to manage funds and science has given me new motivations as I hone my engineering skills as well as my orbital mechanics :)

I think my longest KSP hiatus was about 2 months or so, though I've had plenty of times where I've just played on-and-off. Basically any time I take up playing any RPG (or Terraria), KSP falls off the radar for a while. How long depends highly on how engrossing the game is. Tales of Graces f stole me away from KSP almost continuously for the better part of a month most recently.
