This Will Not End Well (post images of your craft in a precarious situation)

Didn't take a before screenshot and it crashed on me so dont want to but...

Was goofing off and found that the LV909s were how to put it... Springy!

Built a few quick designs and shot em up first to 1km and shut off the engines and let it drop, then 2mk, 4km, 5km... Every time the engines exploded on impact but the fuel tanks, and pod were safe. Went for broke fired up my orbital ship yard and popped out another one for Jeb to ride down...

My first Duna mission was less than optimal. Getting to Duna went as planned but just as I separated the transfer stage in Duna orbit the lander also lost it's landing stage (left in the picture). Some engineer really messed up with the stagings.

However I decided to continue the mission. I figured that since Duna has low gravity and thin atmosphere, the lander should be fine as long as I don't burn too much fuel on deorbit and landing. There was a slight miscalculation on the landing trajectory tho... The lander was not designed to be landed on steep slopes.

In the end I did manage to save Loden and all the science from the surface but not the lander itself (had to leave it in Duna orbit). Losing the lander meant I had to return home without exploring Ike.

My Tylo ship is having issues. You see, I don't think it should be bending at all, let alone at this angle.

This meant I had to decouple the KR-2L and I lost 1800m/s delta-v...

Two of my spaceplanes, after many successful missions, decided to spontaneously shed some wings and all of their elevons while docked at my station. Did I mention this was hard mode? Can't quickload...

I didn't until it was much much too late.

So um... I miss the time when parts told you if fuel could flow through them... It would have been nice to know that fuel couldn't flow through those triple adapters...

A perfect landing gone wrong;

The rover made the lander too top heavy for the slope. It detached ok but the lander trapped Bill inside.

Mun rover crash. Apparently gently clipping a crater wall at 115m/s is dangerous. (rover in question is some distance away in the background)

After a 3km tumble across the Munar surface he somehow survived and returned to the lander.
