KSP 1.0 Naming Discussion Thread

Recommended Posts

With KSP 1.0 Announced, and as squad has named their updates since the 0.23.5 ARM Patch. 0.24 First Contract, 0.25 Economic Boom, 0.90 Beta than ever, then what? This thread is intended for the KSP community to discuss ideas for the naming of the update.

When you give a suggestion for a name, please give reasoning behind it (optional).

To get things started off, my idea for the update is "The end of the beginning" as a slight spoof (or parody) of the phrase 'The beginning of the end' and how early access (represented as 'the beginning') will be over once 1.0 has been released.

NOTES: This is for the discussion of names only and is not by any means official. Any names suggested are are not guaranteed to even be considered by squad as names for the update.

Kerbal Space Program 1.0: "Kerbal Space Program"? No, not likely happened.

Simply ksp 1.0 “Beyond Beta“, or “New Begaining“, possibly.

Or KSP 1.0: Hail the Ladies? :P

Kerbal Space Program 1.0: Go For Launch!

Get's my vote.

For extra points, a picture of a big red button, with a warning sticker on it that says 'pushing this button may invalidate the warranty'.

Of the ones suggested so far, I mostly like "Out to Launch". However, I think that the 1.0 Release of the game should just be called "Kerbal Space Program".

If, on the other hand, there is a 0.99, or 1.0RC, or an Experimental release, then the name I'd suggest for it would be "All Systems Go".
