What do we call √?

Kuatloos. :)

Ah... Kuatloos I like.

I went with "root" or "roots" because I always thought Kerbals where plant like. But now that female kerbals are introduced I'm not sure anymore.

Plants can come in more than one ... -- Ginkgo trees do.

What name is considered canon for the Kerbal unit of currency? The √ sign indicates possible calling them roots, the game just says funds.

Well, for me it's money. And easy to remember:

'Money is the root of all evil'. So: build moar rockets with moar boosters an get rid of it as fast as possible!

I know its funds, and that is officially, but that sounds like a beta name. Sims had Simoleons, which was great, there should be something like that that. So far:

You could also call them "ticks". You know there is a huge pile of papers with a lot of boxes before you get to play with the toys. Space is also the thing that makes the kerbals tick.

Ticks nice and easy

"Funds" is a radical name I would root for.

The puns are great, I'd call the rads, if fallout hadn't come out.

I personally like "funds". Although I found someone referring to them as kredits or kurrency.

Attaching K is a nice formula for everything kerbal

I call 'em Kosh.

and all that, but with a Kerbal flavor.

Kosh is fabulous

I was trying all night before I made this post to think of something involving Rubles, but I forgot to add K, I'm ashamed.

I heard someone streaming called it spasos. Kerbals use Spasos, its perfectly logical.

Spasos is great, isn't one of the Squad guys Mexican? That has a good thing going for it. However if its like Pecos, shouldn't it be Specos?

Obviously they're greenbacks.

:D

I'll stick with Munnies :)

nice

I call them Kredits

But the sign has inspired another version: Sqredits

The squad refrence is great, like the guy who said Spasos, Spacos?

I think they should be called kuid, but I usually use funds.

Incidentally, I realised a while ago that the symbol isn't meant to be a square root sign. It's a graph, as might show money changing over time.

Isn't It?
