Can I remove a mods icon in the stock Toolbar?

Refer to title, Trying to remove Lazor system's icon in my appbar seeing as to how i will never click on it, it's just taking up room and causing me to needlessly scroll to get to icons i actually use.

Is it possible to remove a mods icon? I tried deleting the texture but that just replaces it with a white box.

Nope, sorry. You can remove the mod or request a configuration option from the mod author.

From a programming standpoint, the icons in different situations are treated differently, so Flight, VAB, and Space center are all different. That means a mod can make an optional flight icon that you can turn off from the same icon in the space center (which usually doesn't bother people), though the game usually has to be restarted for it to work. You just have to talk that author into doing it.

You can hide them with QuickHide, but this mod will hide all mods icon from the stock toolbar, you can't choose which one you want to keep.

Shame, Guess i'll ask in romfarer's thread if he would consider making it an option since so many people use the .dll without utilizing the entire mod. Appreciate the help guys.

Which begs the question of why Squad didn't just include Blizzy's toolbar. Or at least implement similar configurability.

For anyone else landing here after 2020, take a look at Kerbal Adjustable Mod Panel (Kamp). It lets you turn mod buttons on and off in each environment (VAB, in flight, in map mode, etc). use
