I have to say, this is not a replica.

It is possible to arrange a party for 56 kerbals orbit Kerbin or when flying past the Mun.

When injection into orbit, watch traction engines and turn off in time, starting with the outermost.

Fuel - 2280;

The quantity of atmospheric engines - 5;

The quantity of nuclear propulsion engines - 2 (clipped in turbojet to the gondola);

DeltaV in orbit 125x125km - 1500-1550m/s.

Control:

3 - Ladder;

6 - Turn on/off turbojet in the gondola;

7 - Turn on/off turbojet in the center on sides;

8 - Turn on/off turbojet in the center;

9 - Turn on/off intake;

0 - Turn on/off nuclear engine.

I have been trying to build a star trek ship for ages with no luck. Do you think it could be made to VTOL too? That would be epic.

Yup, the new editor really allows you to do magic, compared with earlier versions. Here's a very dark WiP shot with the engineering test article:
