Starwaster has been kind enough to bundle support for this mod with DRE. It also makes more sense since reentry heating is stock now, and he essentially does the same for the stock shields now.

Any plans for larger sizes?

Indeed cool concept for Mars! And pretty creative reentry vehicle you made there!

However, I'm not really a fan of making multiple parts from the same model (this mod already does this, but I want to avoid it in the future). Instead, I might make other shields with a different model. Look at this post for an outline of "things to come". However, since then my life has become really busy and I cannot promise anything soon. :/

I'm here, and still play KSP occasionally. However, the stock heat shields have more or less made this mod redundant now, so I doubt I'll expand it any further.

Feel free to fork the GitHub project if you want to maintain it. I guess there'll be new part tools in 1.1 that requires the parts to be rebuilt.
