  1. Well i think the way most people are doing it is by having enough ore tanks to make the base completely sink down to the bottom of the ocean, idk if the claws even work
  2. Lol, didn't notice that, and well i personally liked the design, and it probably just got swallowed up on the 1.0.5 stuff. It also flew like a dream, so yea
  3. Great craft!, love the design. How fast is it's safe water landing speed?
  4. Well its that time again, and with the release of 1.0.5, there has been a flood of new crafts. I have chose a few of the crafts which I believe are the best of this week! I tried to be fair as possible, but I have stuck to stock because I am a stock player, and I tested all of these. They are in no particular order, and all of these crafts are outstanding! MajorJim's Duna Direct This beautiful replica is a bit high in part count, but is incredibly realistic and has ingenious part uses, especially with the HAB door. While it is not 1.0.5, it was just too good not to get featured. pTrevTrevs' P-26 Peashooter This plane replica has a very cool custom cockpit, as well as a highly accurate propeller (although fake) and even a bomb! It is a great plane and is a joy to fly around the sky. Ghostbuzzer7's Me 262 Replica A great replica or a great plane in real life, this craft features bombs as well, and is the first 1.0.5 specific on the list. Azimech's SY1 Mintaka Super Yacht This wonderful boat comes with many great aspects, including a walk around deck and infinite range thanks to its built in ISRU. It also looks absolutely fantastic, and is a boat! Pandoras Kitten's PBK-1 Katarina This mock plane of the very famous PBY Catalina is a very cool craft, combining a boat and plane into one. It flies great, and is incredibly functional with the new 1.0.5 water physics. FCISuperGuy's Kerbal Transportation System "Challenger" I could not go through 1.0.5 crafts without having at least one space shuttle, and here is the one I like the best. It has a great orbiter, and is a wonderful mix of realism, and KSP ways. Thats all for my SCF, I hope you enjoyed. There will be no honorable mentions, because there has been such flurry of 1.0.5 crafts that there are just TOO many to mention.
  5. Ok, so I will start SF as soon as I get back from going out to dinner (just got home, and of course tonight is the ONE night my family is going out) , Should be up in around 3-4 hours, so sorry if its a little late.
  6. Very cool!, Well I think i will have to stop by Dres on my way back from rescuing my long lost Jebediah Kerman. Long story short, back on .90, or .25 I made a extemly long range space plane, which made it to lathe but could not return, Jebediah was the crew of that one . I had not planned a rescue mission, but when testing my small SSTM, I went to Jool and figured I might as well rescue him. So, by meeting up with that craft on lathe, and then transfering crew (the noone kerbal now has to wait for a rescue mission) I am ready to set off back to Kerbin, but hey, I think I will have to make a pitstop at Dres first
  7. Looks absolutely ridiculous, but I bet is a very accurate replica
  8. Its the convair F2Y Sea Dart, (thanks to google images), And although I didnt actually know what it was, nice replica
  9. I do kinda agree with you Noname, as well as MajorJim. This seems like a good idea, but then falls down into self-promotion and a popularity contest. I personally do not think my walker should be up there, and I retract it. I think IF we are going to keep this thread around, it should have only very outdated craft, whose creators are inactive. That way we can remember the good old crafts, even if their creators are long AFK, and there is no one to vouch for them, rather than having a current popularity contest and a bunch of self advertisement
  10. First SSTM with the new 1.5m converter and small drills!, and i have to say, it is fairly easy to use!
  11. I have actually found my own SSTOs struggling in the sub-sonic zone, and accelerating enough to produce enough thrust... Its really annoying (and yes i am working with fairly low T/W ratio crafts, as its a SSTM)
  12. Cool idea, but I HIGHLY suggest you change that distance per buoy to like 25-30 km. You would be surprised how many you get on something like that mission (I had 25km flag makers for my eclano challenge, and with only the land it was like 90 something)
  13. Great thread idea! I also personally nominate this http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...NEW-Sky-Crane! I think its a great craft. And of course if i can nominate myself, i would definitely nominate my walker http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...660-KSP-Walker
  14. LOOKS AWESOME!, love the design now, make it a submarine!
  15. Great craft! I was thinking of makin a f-86 saber replica, and now with 1.0.5 might just be the time to do it
  16. Oh yes, this looks VERY useful. I can just imagine the large walk-around space stations now, as well as the EXTREMELY simple bearings....
  17. Nice! , really surprised you didnt just throw some junos on there so the engines were less obvious, but great replica!
  18. AHHH!!!!! All this stuff is driving me crazy!, I of course just unzipped ksp 1.0.5, but then I launch it and, I HAVE TWO OF ALL THE REMODELED PARTS! So now i need to unzip it again, and copy over my save Does this happen to anyone else?
  19. Thats really funny!, although I am more interested in that rover...
