Lol, cuz stuff, BTW it doesn't work in 1.0.5, as all forms of turboprops died. Working on making a smaller, better (and space worthy) version

I cant tell, but i will accept it if it has a heat-sheild (even if empty) and you describe your changes to the orbit :), or you can just show me a pic of the capsule rentering -

Great job HoloYolo, but one of the requirements is to return... so yea... I am sure you can make it back, if you would be so kinda to just relaunch your rocket, sorry :) -

Wow... Should have expected that from you Nefrums (I have seen your GENUS related to the Jool-5) Great job, but i take it your not going to Gilly? :P -
Eve Space Program Challenge

I am guessing that is for Jebediah's Level? I dont see any capable lander there, and also remember, you CAN have multiple launches and dock them together in orbit for ALL the challenges (except level 1, obviously) -
Bubbadevlin Presents The F-86 Sabre I have not seen many replicas of the famed F-86, an i suspect is is due to its extremely difficult nose and fuselage, so i have decided to give a go at making a replica, and here it is. DOWNLOAD The North American F-86 Sabre, sometimes called the Sabrejet, was a transonic jet fighter aircraft. Produced by North American Aviation, the Sabre is best known as the United States' first swept wing fighter which could counter the similarly-winged Soviet MiG-15 in high-speed dogfights over the skies of the Korean War (1950–1953). Considered one of the best and most important fighter aircraft in that war, the F-86 is also rated highly in comparison with fighters of other eras.[3] Although it was developed in the late 1940s and was outdated by the end of the '50s, the Sabre proved versatile and adaptable, and continued as a front-line fighter in numerous air forces until the last active operational examples were retired by the Bolivian Air Force in 1994. -Wikipedia This craft can actually hold 2 Kerbals due to the cockpit design, and has a very unique IVA. It is powered by 4 Juno engines, and weighs about 7 tons. If you cannot recognize, the nose is actually 3 of the re-skinned radial intakes. The craft flies like a beauty, and while it's engines are basic jets, it can still go nearly 400 miles per hour, and with over 250 units of fuel, it can fly for quite a long time. The craft also has a extremely slow stall speed, at around 50 m/s, and is incredibly maneuverable.

Eve Space Program Challenge
Bubbadevlin replied to Bubbadevlin's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Whoops, just noticed this, Jetski, no not everything has to be manned for the space station, it just means that when you submit it fully there has to be Kerbals (from eve) on it. Plus those missions automatically count you for level 1, so adding you to the list -

Very cool scullyl, but sadly no 1/2 star :P You can completely use ISRUs, and yea 100% heating And Der Anfang, the point of the challenge IS to launch from Eve, we are all just HE it there because its a lot easier, and most people already have HE -
I have had this issue ALOT, and i found its actually caused when you click out of KSP (when you have 2 screens) during the loading process of the save, so you either have to click out right after you load the save, or keep KSP as your window until it's loaded in. It happens a lot more in modded/higher flight saves, as there is more load time

Hmm... that my have actually subconsciously led my to my idea, but i completely forgot about that one, but to be honest this is different mainly because it is JUST Eve :P -

yup, anything out of Eve's SOI counts for #4 But remember, EVERYTHING used in the mission has to be launched FROM Eve :) -
Eve Space Program Challenge
Bubbadevlin replied to Bubbadevlin's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Well sure, but yea you would have to launch the infrastructure yourself, from Eve, and i think you would have to use engines that rely on that infrastructure, not just the OP-est engines -

Yea, your right wit the irony, but hey, that is pre-mission prep. As for takeoff spot, it seems like Foxster already found a good one; 4.61432534589699E-08, 128.299978705477 (0°00'35'' S, 128°18'19'' E) -
I worked on re-making my replica Saturn V, as well as created a new challenge on the forums : http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/140447-Eve-Space-Program-Challenge

After years of abuse, the Kerbals have finally made Kerbin completely uninhabitable from their caustic rocket explosions, so they turned to a different planet, Eve, and begin a their space program anew.. Your job as their new administrator is to create a full fledged space program, from Eve. To get your rocket to Eve, it is HIGHLY suggested that you use Hyper-edit, or a extra-planetary ship building mod. (although you can still launch it there if you are crazy) Rules: - No Cheating - All flights MUST be manned, no wimpish probes! - Mods are OK, as long as there is nothing too OP. I will be the final judge. - On larger missions, docking is allowed, it does not have to be a single launch. - All missions will begin on the surface of Eve, and everything used in that mission MUST be launched from Eve's surface at the point Lat: 4.7, Lon: 128.35 or close enough to that - Be Creative and have fun! Levels: 1) - Reach orbit. Its simple enough, just get a Kerbal to orbit from the surface of Eve, then return. Bonus points for economy and weight. Winner-board: Foxster - The first winner, and a very interesting (and top heavy looking) craft Jetski - Automatically wins this one because he is constructing a space station! Nefrums - A masterful orbit made, and on his way for the Jebediah Level HoloYolo - A great backstory to the launch, its really funny! Scullyl - A beautiful rocket, He also uses aero-breaks! Maccollo - A video entry, with a extremely tall rocket! 2) - Go to Gilly. Create and pilot a craft capable of getting to and landing on Gilly, then returning to Eve. Remember, all missions NEED to be manned! You MAY NOT use your Kerbal's Jet pack to land, bring along a capsule/chair Winner-board: Foxster - The first in this category too!, I wonder what will be next? 3) - Create a Space Station. This does not have to be a single launch, nor should it be, I want to see a creative (and possible useful) space station. Challenge yourself with you max payload to orbit, the more modules the better! Winner-board: None Yet! 4) - Go interplanetary. You can go to any planet you find the easiest. You are required to bring along a Kerbal, and return!!!! Bonus points for bringing along more crew, as well as a rover Winner-board: None Yet! Jebediah's Level: This is the hardest challenge, and it will be complicated. Even though it has been long abandoned, the Kerbals still want to remember their old world. Create a mission to the Kerbin system. You will need to land on and return from Kerbin as well as you also want to land on the Mun and Minmus, then return to Eve. I am not sure if this is even possible, but i challenge you to it! Winner-board: Mesklin - A surprisingly small rocket, he used an ion lander *Note* My own completion will be coming soon, however I hope the challenge is self explanatory.

most parts that appear "hollow" are not actually, as Red Iron Crown says, only cargo bas, service compartments and the new structural fuselage are truly hollow. Dont forget fairings are also hollow!

cool, but A you cant see the pics, and B rating it your self isnt really that smart :P Great thread though -
I have a stupidly stupidly over complex and huge Apollo rocket, found HERE Currently working on re-doing it to look better :)
