  1. I reinstalled KSP yesterday, and built this! It has seven Goliaths, 4 NK-12's, and 4 wheesleys, and it barely gets off the ground. I bet it needs more lift... On an unrelated note, last night, I figured out why my graphics are absolute rubbish. I have Intel. INTEL.
  2. Bouncy kerbal heads! From orbit! Everyone remembers this! Unless you just got the game in which case I am so sorry for your loss... EDIT: Seriously, you could deorbit a kerbal and it would stay alive if it's pack was on. If it wasn't... It turned into a ragdoll got possessed by the almighty Lord Kraken.
  3. I remember building a rocket that literally crashed Kerbin.exe. It was flashing and everything. I had made a Planet Buster™! [stupid ™ wont italicize properly >:( ) Then I got the idea of placing multiple in the world at once. I think you can guess what happened.
  4. Wait We can carry planes on planes? This isn't a good idea I'll take like 10.
  5. Well, I said a few hundred episodes, but apparently I was wrong. Here ya go! Three different bays! Woohoo!
  6. I unofficially call that eligible because of how COOL THAT IS
  7. You guys are going to love the insanity I have dug into today... NEXT TIME, ON DRAGON BALL Z Or later tonight either way it'll take a few hundred episodes
  8. Thanks, I'll see if I can find in the haystack that is Steam Game Settings Seriously, it's like trying to find a single tardigrade in an ocean the size of Jupiter. It being the only tardigrade. Steam settings are cluttered and it makes me sad
  9. Definitely. Electric engines in general have high to infinite effeciency, but are underpowered. For what I'm planning, I would need about... Maybe 100. For EC bombers to be relevent here, they would have to have just enough EC production to have good range, but need to land to recharge. LF prop engines are best, though, as they are more powerful and can get to higher speeds.
  10. Constantly refer to Kerbals as "Inevitable casualties." EDIT: I have over 1700 hours on this game, the whole time they have been inevitable casualties.
  11. What did I do in KSP today? Absolutely nothing. What did I do in KSP yesterday? Forgot to install it and went with Space Engineers instead. Granted, it is fun, but Intel GPU's do jack $#!% and just make everything run slower I don't want to leave with only this, so have this pic of a rocket.
  12. Are mod propeller engines allowed? I pretty much can't make anything look good without propeller engines. Jet engines just don't look right on bombers to me anymore.
  13. Yeah, I kinda figured. Also, love the cabins. EDIT: Do you mind if I ask for cabins with three decks? Like this: ---------------- o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o ---------------- -- 0 0 0 -- The 0's in the second one are doors, which can be opened separately.
  14. @neistridlar Nice! I love it! Also, have you ever heard of the Aurora D-8? It's what drove me to suggest double-bubble fuselages. Here's a pic artist's rendition: I's currently still a concept, being researched by Aurora Flight Sciences, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Pratt and Whitney, with NASA sponsoring $2.9 million. I just thought I should share it.
  15. My new harddrive just arrived! Time to get back to breaking the game! We must have celebretory sacrifices! MILLIONS OF THEM!
  16. @Kernel Kraken Try using an inline cockpit or merging the fuselages into one, and generally making it as aerodynamic as possible. As it is in the pic, it's pretty blunt on the nose(s), so what you want is to merge them into one or put nose cones on them and use an inline cockpit. That should help a bit, at least. EDIT: For engines, try using junos. They aren't very powerful, nor can they go supersonic (Unless you add a crap ton) but they are very efficient. Then there's the Panther, when dry, has a fuel consumption rate of 0.119. After that is the Wheesley with 0.223. Those are probably your best options for engines for efficiency.
  17. @neistridlar Make the nose right below the windows... Less blunt? More curved? Maybe make the nose a bit longer, too. Just a bit, though.
  18. Hehe. Meanwhile, at Mission Control: *This is Jeb over the radio. This is Mission Control. "All according to plan. They don't suspect a thing." "What plan? Who doesn't suspect what, over." "I- Uh... Nothing, nothing! I didn't say anything, over!" "Then who did, over." "Um... It was just the plane rattling... Yeah! The plane rattling. Over." "Hmm... Seems legit, over and out." *click* "Gotta remember not to keep the radio on next time..."
  19. Ok, so I know this wasn't today (I think it was actually 4 months ago) but I wanted to share it anyway. At full speed, it goes mach 3. If it was at sea level, that is.
  20. Time to put my skills to the test. Ooh, are cluster bombs allowed!? Please tell me they are! I've just realized what I use if I can bomb the VAB. Time to build a stock nuclear bomb! EDIT: Do I get extra points if I make it look like this?
  21. I wonder what I can do on this... HmMmmMMmMMmMmMmMmmMmMmmMmMMmmmmm............... hehehe At least, when my harddrive comes.
  22. Yep. I knew I probably should, but I kept procrastinating, because I thought nothing was wrong and it would be fine. Boy, was I wrong.
