  3. I thought you were being really nice and supportive. I don't think it warranted the "go and make your own" comment. I just transferred my whole game, saves and ships included from a Win10 laptop to a Win11 desktop...it all seems successful except the Notes add on doesn't appear anywhere. Was wondering if this was a Win11 issue?

On a previous KSP version on a broken laptop somewhere, I had installed some science device where you had to put one device on a probe to fly one side of the asteroid, and then another on the other side and align a laser. It then measured, I think, the density of the asteroid. Does anyone else remember this add-on, I can't seem to find it anywhere.
  6. Hi there, am a long time user of KAS, thank you so much for the hard work in creating and maintaining this add-on. I have just installed it on the latest version of KSP as I want to use the connector tube thingies to link one landed item to another. When I take an engineer out to test it (there wasn't another part to link to at the time), the ESC key to cancel doesn't seem to work and there's no way out of it except to close the entire game. This might be being affected by another mod but I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem. Many thanks SOLVED - I simply installed KIS as well and now it all works fine....should have read the instructions....

  8. Deeeeyaammm! Caught between the jaws of my two favourite modders, Linuxgurugamer and RoverDude. I think Firespitter is the only installed mod which is preventing the R&D window from showing anything and I need Firespitter to run USI Kolonisation and Life Support mods. ...R&D is awesome though....

  10. Hi all (I have searched to see if anyone else had had this problem) Reactors on various craft are suffering from Reactor Health loss even when the reactors are switched off. I have adequate radiators installed and working but the reactors still start to die. One ship, went from 100% to 0% health just by fast forwarding the game a few hours. Has anyone else experienced this?
  11. Ave all I just updated all my mods and now when I switch off the external lights (both stock and surface mounted), they switch off (without the usual fade) and then won't switch back on again. When I leave the ship and then go back to it again then the lights are back on again. Once more though, if I switch them off then they don't come back on again. I have tried switching them using the lights button, hotkey command and individually point and click menus. Any help would be appreciated.

  13. Yes, this is exactly it, which mods have been made redundant due to being incorporated to updates of KSP. I noticed you said more realistic aero, I do have Ferram Aerospace installed so my first question, is this one that I should remove?   14. Happy Long Journey Isolation everyone! My install is getting slower and slower to run and is hanging between going into the VAB and then launching quite significantly SOOO I wondered if I simply have too many mods (almost certainly) and if I have installed mods which have already been either incorporated into the game or have become unnecessary with new versions. I couldn't find a thread about this but a database of which mods became surplus to requirements with each new version of KSP would be really useful. Happy Wallchewing!
  15. You sir are a genius. It was in the sandbox mode and then when I went to search in the tech tree I found it where I wasn't expecting there to be any parts. My bad, sorry for being a dunce. And thank you for responding so quickly.
  16. Could someone help please. I cannot find the Tundra Industrial Refinery in the tech tree nor in my available parts so cannot produce Refined Exotics. Has anyone else found this problem?
  17. So in the end I got bored and found a suitably recent persistent save file, restored it and replaced the most recent one. All seems fine now, even with the mods that I tried removing and installing. I'm not sure what the problem was and it didn't occur with any newly built ships once the problem started. I think that something in the game suddenly gave all ships some signal to rotate their SAS's and incline towards the prograde. I don't know how or why but restoring a previous save seemed to do the trick.

  19. I have this same problem but I don't have RemoteTech installed. I have tried resetting the Trim with Alt+x but still to no avail. All of my ships are now doing this. When I turn off all the torque for the SAS modules then it stops (although then of course I have no control either). Hope someone can help.

  21. Hellloooo I've been using KJR for years and have always enjoyed the utter elimination of judder, slip and bang. I never could get it to overcome the issues with Infernal Robotics though. I just renewed both KJR and IR to see if they were now working together but still not. When I actually launch a ship with robotic parts, the moving bits strain and barely move and sometimes spin themselves free. I am using: KSP v1.3 IR v3.0.0 KJR v3.3.3 Sorry if this has already been answered. I have a long-running game which has some ships using this version of IR so I am reluctant to change to the new version of IR. Thanks for any help available.
  22. Turned out it was the update. I reverted to the previous version and the XL appeared. I removed any other recently installed add-ons to see if there were any clashes but that didn't seem to do anything.
