Actually, there is a hidden feature where if you click the "I" button in the tracking station and a window pops up. If you click on the craft name in that window, you can rename it from there without flying it.

I haven't had many crashes at all. None that I can specifically remember. Waaaaaay better then 1.1 or 1.1.1 or 1.1.2.

Just a quick question. Sorry if it's been asked before. Are solar panels better or worse than RTG's (E/C per ton) out at Dres? I am planning to go there soon with a Dresteroid miner. Will solar panels still work, even if they are less efficient? Also, my ship has an ISRU and two drills, in case you need that info.

Hmm. I've sent many a probe into Jool in my time, one with an aerospike strapped to it. I don't remember the exact numbers, but it still had a decent* isp at 0 meters. With my mission report and the whole "surface sample from all 18 KSP bodies" thing, I'll have to do this sometime. I remember that one person did this a while ago.
